I was satisfied with Spring Landscape, Fernando and his team. The initial walk through with Fernando seemed thorough, and he was knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted done and he had suggestions on other things my yard could need done. I got a quote fast and on his work schedule fast and The yard looks what I had in mind. I knocked 1 star off for the delays. Unfortunately he got lost finding my house for the initial quote and showed up an hour late. But he was communicative via text about it which was great. The crew was supposed to show up at 8:30-9am. I texted Fernando at 9:30 cause they have not arrived yet. He texted me back And called me for an update. Which I appreciated. He also texted me a picture of a little bit of mulch on the side of the house (no biggie) and called me to make sure I was completely satisfied. I would totally use these guys again ! read more

We've used Spring Landscaping for over two years now. Fernando's communication and response time leaves a lot to be desired. These guys were great in the beginning, but each year their quality of customer service has worsened enough to lose about one star a year. The quality of work isn't bad, but I've been noticing a reduction in the amount of service I received during each visit. I pay for 2 hours of service, but I maybe get about 1.5 hours. I have also noticed they've done a much better job when I'm home, but tend to slack when I'm not. This is unfortunate because it shouldn't matter. On their last visit, they failed to blow two patios, which was not that big of deal, but they also failed to remove a pile of cut branches. This was a big deal and has never been an issue before. Fernando promised he would remove it within two days, but it didn't happen hence the loss of another star. read more

I called Spring Landscape on a Wednesday to see if they could accommodate a very last-minute service outside of their general area the following Friday, only giving them two days notice.. Fernando was extremely friendly and professional on our initial phone call, and kept great communication with me as we worked out the details of his visit. As we walked around my property, he was great at explaining what was needed, and how it would be taken care of. Our yard was in need of a lot of work - it had never been edged, or properly weeded in the last 3 years. There were also overgrown shrubs and small trees surrounding the property. Fernando quoted me an extremely reasonable price. After seeing the work Fernando and his employee performed, I was beyond speechless. It was like I had a whole new house/yard. Absolutely amazing. They are extremely hard workers and perform beautiful work. Having them do this work for me has freed up so much of my time to focus on other things in my day-to-day life. Spring Landscape isn't an organized company. I suggest you find a different company - one whose staff follows orders from the "office". I'm still not clear what the arrangement is here. Fernando is the person you'd speak to if you called them, Miguel and his guys are the ones who come out and do the work. Effective communication is this company's biggest challenge. Let me be clear: I'm dealing with a lawn that's just under 2,000 square feet, so we're not dealing with major square footage here. First, it's impossible to speak to Fernando. Period. You call and call, he doesn't ever answer the phone. Yet he'll text and reply to texts from that same phone number all day long. Sometimes you just need to get on the phone and talk through an issue rather than be stuck in a 160-character rut; not Fernando. Never answers the phone. That's the first problem. Second problem is that Miguel apparently can do whatever he feels, however he feels like it, including what he chooses to charge for service. This is again separate from what Fernando might discuss with you or agree to. Problem. Third, Miguel and the guys do about a "C" job. Not great, not really "good". They can cut lawns, but they cut them too short and leave debris behind. They can edge, but won't create neat edges with lawn vs. mulched areas. They just dig a small line. They don't edge bushes or shrubs consistently - some they'll do, some they won't. They won't clean off dead flowers. Then they came to do shrub work and didn't bother to do the lawn even though it was part of the service! For the price Miguel wants to charge (over $300), the job was absolutely insulting. Fourth, they'll tell you that they will put you on a given schedule/day/time. Yet Miguel will choose to deviate from that whenever he feels like it. I was supposed to have service on Mondays; Miguel came on Fridays instead a couple of times, one time he just showed up out of the blue on a Tuesday. It's like, what part of "schedule" is not getting across? Fifth their website indicates they do a lot more than lawn service. They do NOT do irrigation, they refer you to someone else. They do NOT do trees, that's another guy/referral. Things listed on their site that are blatantly false. I can only assume that "K.K." is a planted review. Either that or his/her lawn didn't really need the service in the first place. read more

I would love to give Fernando and Miguel five stars because the work they completed for us was excellent. We had them come out the beginning of the month and clean all the garden beds, cut back a large section of brush and lay down compost. The crew was very efficient and professional at a reasonable price. This was a surprise birthday gift for my boyfriend so they worked with me to get the work done over a weekend while he was out of town. I also wanted to have all the grass aerated, thatched and seeded but the weather was too wet. Fernando and Miguel said they would give me a separate estimate to complete the work once the weather is dryer. Unfortunately, after contacting them a couple times, I have yet to receive an estimate or schedule to do the additional work. I would like to continue to work with them to complete the additional work and semi-annual maintenance but their communication has become extremely poor. I guess once they became busy they forgot about me which is why I am only rating them 3 stars. read more

First time, no show - he said he'd be able to stop by and do a walk through of the yard, but turned out he wasn't able to, but I only found out after I followed up the next day. Second time, 3 hours late - again he told me what time he was available to stop by, but didn't contact me until 3 hours later to say he was stuck on another job. I was willing to forgive it since he finally did show up, but now with the lack of an estimate, it just seems they're too busy. read more

Fernando is pretty much the worst. He's super friendly in person, but he hardly listens to what you're saying. If he shows up at all. The first time I had him come out he totally missed the estimate appointment and then it was more than a month before he came back. Then when he came out to do the services we discussed, he couldn't do half of it because we had waited too long into the Spring... because he missed the first appointment. Plus they were not careful with what they were doing and got dirt and mulch in my house through the back door. Thinking this was a one off thing, I gave him a second chance. In the fall when he came out he didn't do half of the things we discussed, and he didn't follow up like he said he would. Now I have half dead bamboo that he was supposed to come dig out that has been there for 6 months. I will definitely not be giving him any more chances. read more

I really enjoyed having Fernando and his team work on my landscape. It needed a lot of help it was completely overgrown with all sorts of weeds I called it my little jungle and with all their hard work it now looks amazing. I called on Friday and got scheduled right away for an estimate to be done on Monday. 3 hours before the scheduled time I sent a confirmation text, they responded that they'd be there at that time. These guys did a good job with my spring cleanup project including mowing edging, pressure washing walk ways, and general debris clean-up and their fees were reasonable. I left off a star because their on-line payment system recommended a tip, which feels a bit over the top. Tipping landscapers seems like overkill since service fees for that line of work are widely subjective already (i.e. no regulation or oversight regarding fee structure) It made me feel uncomfortable since it is obviously expected. Overall I would recommend them. And they were prompt to respond and handle one last task that I felt was missed, but in all honesty it could have just been a miscommunication. We hired Spring Landscape to trim a huge, overgrown hedge in our front yard (more than 10 feet deep and 20 feet tall) and not only did they do a great job of cutting it back and shaping it, but they left zero trace of having been here. Read the reviews and gave them a shot. Miguel came out and gave me a bid for full yard cleanup. Not cheap, but fair. Three guys came out a few days later, spent one full day and 3 1/2 hours the next day hitting every spot in my yard. They were thorough and the price was fair. Not sure what else I could ask for and I didn't experience any of the problems a couple of the bad reviews did. I plan on using Spring during the summer for edging and detail. We hired Spring Landscape over a year ago to do some major pruning on a large hedge, they did great work and clean up. We are now selling our house and wanted our yard to be immaculate for the sale. Miguel and crew were able to come in on a Saturday with less than desirable weather and deliver great results for our photos. Fernando is very responsive via email and through yelp text. He promised me that Fernando would call me the next day and come out to give me an estimate. I have yet to hear back from anyone. Again, it has been several weeks...
