If you decide to do the self checkout make sure to keep your receipt handy. You will need the bar code on the receipt to get out of the electric swinging bar. My partner's lemon/mint gelato was small, but packed an explosive, tart amount of flavor in each small bite. We enjoyed our treat in patio seating outside the cafe. It was warm, but pleasant- shielded from the sun by umbrellas and from the street, screens by tall planters. We were greeted and served promptly by a team of two servers. On paying our bill we noticed the inside seating also looks lovely- in an air conditioned cafe. 4 stars rather than 5 simply because it was quite expensive- almost 18 euros for two small treats and two half liter bottles of water
