To enter Auchan (the main store) You must go in through the Electronics section (on the left). This store has almost everything including groceries, electronics, household items, general merchandise, health and beauty, some clothes and all disposable supplies for parties (napkins, plates, table clothes, etc). And a large seasonal area (School supplies, Christmas, etc). Prices are reasonable.

I had been to an Auchan on my first trip to Europe back in 2001, and I had always remembered it as a supermarket-style chain (which for sure it is), but this specific store felt more like a Target or Walmart than a pure supermarket. They had electronics, housewares, and other items that I don't typically associate with a grocery store. Anyhow, the only weird thing is that (like many European stores), they are quite strict about how to enter and exit -- they have little gates specifically made to control the flow of traffic in to and out of the store.

This place is awesome! They have all different kinds of alcohol products from all over the world…read more They have great gift ideas and lots of specialty foods and even baskets to present them in. There's only street parking on a one way street. So, it might be a little tricky to get a spot, but it would be worth the walk if you have to park further away. Make sure to go into the side room. They have all kinds of chocolates and even large, plush, stuffed animals. Totally worth the visit to this spot. You will be hard pressed to not walk away with something.

There's great parking and their prices are good for the selection. This is household basics like cleaning supplies and paper products. You can also find wine and spirits even some high end items locked behind a glass door. There's a typical fish, chicken, and meat selection in the back of the store. My kiddos really enjoyed their pre-made chicken nuggets. Overall just a nice shopping experience.

You are able to taste any of their varieties and pick your favorite. Then you can pick the size container in which you'd like it (or you can bring your own) and they fill 'er up just like a gas tank!
