We hired the DJ Firm this year for our vow renewal and reception…read more We actually had the DJ Firm DJ for our small wedding last year, which shows how much we enjoyed them! We had DJ Sho (Jose) this year as our DJ - we also rented the photo booth and cold sparklers through the DJ Firm. DJ Sho did a fantastic job of keeping our guests on the dance floor and the party going! To no fault of Sho's, there was an audio hiccup but he was able to recover and pick the party back up. The cold sparklers were a hit - we added them on last minute ourselves -I highly recommend them to anyone even remotely considering them!! In terms of the process of selecting songs and lining things up, the site that the DJ Firm uses makes it really simple to do so. One thing to keep in mind when booking is that the style of most of these DJs is not to play full songs but to mix into and out of songs (fairly) quickly, so you will want to make sure that is your style before booking. It definitely kept our guests engaged and on the dance floor! The only thing I wish was that there was two photo booth attendants included as for a portion of our evening there was no attendant around, so guests were left to their own ways to ensure enough photos printed. However, DJ Firm helped ensure we were able to get copies of all of our photos! Tip: make sure to have something available for them to put the extra copy in ! We had missed that there wasn't something provided by default. I highly recommend the DJ Firm and their crew for all of your event needs!

By the way, we had some VERY specific requests and they were able to obtain licensed copies of everything. We met with Buddy and Tracy twice before our wedding. Once to discuss general ideas and again to review our choices and confirm them as well as going over the schedule for the reception in detail. On the big day, Buddy was ill but they brought in another dj to run the board and Tracy did an awesome job of mc-ing. The owner of our banquet facility told us they had NEVER had a wedding run on time like ours and yet we never felt rushed or disappointed. All the guests who requested music had their requests filled and the reception was a big hit with the guests. They even got 90% of the guests on the floor for the last dance - something rarely seen at a wedding. Great job, T.B.M - we recommend you all the way!

I'm not going to go so far as to say that TBM Productions ruined my wedding, because I had a…read morewonderful time. However, the owner/head DJ Buddy put a serious damper on the evening. It started when he neglected to email me our 'key songs' (first dance, father-daughter dance, etc) before the day-of the reception. I honestly forgot about the promise of an email with all the other things going on the day prior to the wedding. I remembered that I'd not received copies of the songs a few hours before the ceremony, so I asked my maid-of-honor to check in on it. Around this time (2 hours before the wedding) is where Buddy's arrogant attitude started to show. He refused to confirm the 'key songs' with my maid-of-honor, and he was sarcastic and short with the events coordinator at our venue. The ceremony went ahead with few missteps. Had nothing else gone wrong at the reception, I would have overlooked the insignificant mistakes at the ceremony. But at the reception, the DJ just failed. First, he did not have the correct father-daughter dance song. He didn't have the wrong version - he had the wrong song. As the song choice was very important to my father, we ended up (after some tense moments through which Buddy was no help) playing the correct song over the mic, off of our iPhone. Buddy was also unable to play the mother-son dance song because he didn't have the rights to the song. That was a recurring, annoying theme throughout the night. He would not play songs because he couldn't "get the rights". At one point during the evening, I had a laugh with the events coordinator at the venue because it seemed completely unlikely that anyone from the RIAA would find out about an unlicensed play of "Bye Bye, Baby". Towards the end of the evening, it became pretty obvious that Buddy had exhausted his supply of good music, because he cleared the dance floor by about 9:30PM. He played the most random stuff -- old Mandy Moore songs, weird cover versions of current music. I think no one really knew what to make of the mix - so we all stopped dancing. Forget about making requests, too -- he had no songs that anyone requested. At the time, all this was really upsetting. I was exhausted to begin with, and having to deal with a bad and belligerent DJ just tired me even more. That's right - he was arrogant and unapologetic throughout all of this. We did end up getting all of our money back, but that didn't correct the experience. Overall, the DJ service was simply bad --- bad attitude, bad music, no ingenuity or adaptability.

The contracted DJ, photographer, and videographer all hired by KCE did a fantastic job on the night of our wedding. Afterwards, however, the process of getting the video and photos from Keith has prompted me to leave a 1-star review. When meeting with Keith in person for our initial consultation, it seemed like he truly knew the ins and outs of the wedding entertainment business. His professional communication and customer service skills, however, were horrendous. Every time we reached our to Keith regarding our photos or video he would respond with "I will check and get back to you tomorrow". He never kept on his word and we would ALWAYS have to reach back out to him to follow up. The response to our follow up emails would often be more excuses, lies, and empty promises. All of this terrible communication left my wife stressed and worried that maybe something happened to the items we paid for and potentially would not get them. We were very excited to use Keith Christopher Entertainment as he came highly recommended from a family member that is in the wedding industry. After our experience, she will no longer be recommending this company and will be sharing our experience with her colleagues as well. Looking back at the reviews for this company, it seems like this company has gone downhill since 2014. In the end, we did get what we paid for, but I can confidently say that it was only in a timely manner because I was persistent in contacting him and eventually brought a lawyer into the conversation. We are happy to have our photos and videos and be done with the Keith Christopher Entertainment group, but we are sharing our experience because no couple should have to go through such a stressful and upsetting experience especially during what is supposed to be such a happy time in your life. You guys are definitely the one stop shop for music and entertainment. I know I kept adding things to my contract and making changes but Deana pulled through 110%.
