*BUYER BEWARE* this guy did a chop job in my 2007 Yukon. Within 24 hours of picking up my car, my TPMS kept going off and my key fobs would intermittently stop working. Fast forward 3 weeks and my car battery is dead, tire sensor stays on, seat controls don't work, and my key fobs don't work. Took it to GM and they found that the audio "installation" completely fried my body control module, which controls a number of electrical components of the car. I just picked my car up from another reputable shop, and they couldn't believe what a terrible job had been done on my subwoofer installation. Long story short, $1,500 later to fix a job that should've been so easy to do right. Stay away from these guys if you want your car to continue working properly. read more

Jonny (the owner) is not honest! I supposedly bought Tarantula's but upon the tweeters blowing, I found that a knock off brand were installed. I had to go back 4 times to get intermittent speaker sound fixed and it still doesn't work right. I maintained patience until Jonny stopped returning my texts as soon as I moved out of town. I would agree with the other rating. this company is run by an absolute nut case!! I scheduled to have XM radio installed into my vehicle. he wanted to run wires all across my dash board even after I paid for the parts to get it installed in the dash. I told him specifically that I did not want visible wires. When I got back to pick up my vehicles, he had mounted the XM radio in my air vent (breaking it), and there were wires everywhere. I told him that it was not at all what I wanted and he started to yell at me telling me that he was not a dog and that I shouldn't speak to him as a dog. The rest of his staff stood around and laughed at him. two staff members came out and apologized for the managers behavior and said they would help me. then the manager came back out and yelled at them and made them go back into the shop. Needless to say, the customers that were waiting, left the store. And I ended up having to go someone else to get my xm radio installed correctly. horrible service. drugged out management and a waste of time and energy read more

The worst service ever. The equipment they installed worked for about a week. They wouldn't fix it, and I had to take it to another place to get it working. I had to spend an extra thousand dollars at another service facility to repair the damage they did. The owner is not only rude, but psycho. read more

I had a good experience here. I took my older car in for an updated sound system. When I wasn't delighted with the system, the manager worked with me to design a system that better fit my needs, then removed then re-installed my newer system. He went out of his way to be sure I had what I wanted and that it was installed correctly and working well. He was polite and eager to "make it right". A good experience, and the new sound is excellent!! read more

I strongly recommend you go anywhere other than this establishment. The 'manager' is a horribly rude person. I have never been spoken to before in the way this guy spoke to me. He told me I was 'unreasonable' when I wanted the after market stereo/camera system installed so as to appear it fits and so that I could open and close the drawer below where the cup holder is. The previous after market system fit perfectly. He continued to get angrier and tell me I was blocking his bay. There was one disabled space available. While I drive a van with a lift and have a decal for my son, I told him I do NOT abuse the system and park in those spaces unless my son is with me. He screamed at me as he called me numerous foul-mouthed names. Accused me of "getting in his face" when I stepped forward. I asked for the owner's number to inform of this outlandish treatment of paying customers. He told me no one speaks to the owner. The system is installed, the camera works very well, the Ipad connector was removed today. Now the drawer opens and closes, but we no longer have the connector which was already paid for- along with installation. read more

These are literally the WORST guys in Gainesville. I took my Jeep in for a simple speaker replacement and when I got it back my passenger and one rear door were completely broken. I could not roll down the windows or open the doors from the inside. When I called about the doors the owner was extremely rude to me. He claimed that the doors not working was my fault because I had an old car. I drive a well maintained 2002 Jeep and I have never had any problems with my doors or windows. To make things even worse when I brought my car in for them to fix it another costumer was waiting with me asking what I was getting done. I told him "nothing, I'm having my doors fixed because they f*cked them up". The owner started screaming at me, getting in my face and told me to shut my mouth. He forced me to stand outside in the cold while I waited for my car to be repaired. One of his employees came by and apologized to me saying he had worked on it and would look at it again. When he went inside the manager walked outside and started screaming at me again telling me that he didn't "want to hear another word" out of my mouth or he would call the cops. I told him that the cops were already on the way, because I had called my dad who is an ASO Officer. Before my father arrived a GPD officer came and told me that I was going to be trespassed. I am a tiny 19 year old female, I did not threaten anyone or pose a threat to anyone around me. Thankfully my father arrived and once we spoke to the GPD officer she told me that they actually get a lot of calls about the guys who work there. Let my experience be a warning to anyone thinking about going to Audio Outlet in the future. If they mess up your car and then you try to have them fix it, there is a good chance that they will call the cops on you and have you treated like a criminal. read more
