First I…read morehave to say that I did not buy hearing aids from them: therefore I understand charging me a higher fee which for an adjustment to the hearing aids. My issue is the $700 per hearing aide was a little excess. The only reason I went to them was the manufacturer suggested them for the adjustments I needed. $1,400 dollars for roughly two hours of works; mostly on the computer was above the average for the Pittsburgh area. It should have been $400 to $600 per aide. My last visit I was having issues and all that was done was additional information that I should have got on my last visit. The charge $45. If you buy from them you get unlimited follow ups, but you well pay full retail price for the aids. There are other audiologists that are just has good as them but not as greedy. One last thing; the price included one 4 month follow up if they needed adjusted but there would be a $45 charge for an office visit.

I never had to wait. Knowing I didn't have to wait I scheduled another appointment soon after. This was different and after a half hour I went to look for her. Joy was not there. I was furious and was told that Joy retired. WHY was I not told this on the telephone? But this…read moreafternoon, one of your vans tailgated me at a very unsafe distance for a long period on an extremely steep downhill (Wenzell in Beechview). Ever hear of the two second rule? Apparently not. At the bottom of the hill (Wenzell and Banksville Road) I was turning left and pulled into a different lane. Your van crossed Banksville at a high rate of speed, running a light that had been red for at least a few seconds, nearly causing an accident with oncoming traffic. I can only hope that none of your clients was in the van. Unless somebody in the van was having an actual heart attack, you're not a good corporate citizen or a helpful neighborhood business. Do better.

They had me reschedule (taking off more PTO) and assured me all was good to go, and I show up, they check me in 20 minutes late, and again the next provider C. Steiner, says she won't do the visit. I sat another 15 minutes waiting to speak to a supervisor about this, only to solve nothing, and asked for a Denial of Service letter for this and the first appointment. They provided a basic one that did not include the required information outline with my request. After waiting a total of two hours since I checked in, I left - to go to my job at another UPMC location. My manager -- of my UPMC practice -- is shocked. Bottom line: If their care matches their critical thinking, steer clear.

We were asked if she wanted 9:45 or 10:45, we said 10:45, the date & time was confirmed at the end of the call and I IMMEDIATLY put it in my calendar. When my niece took her mom (my sister) for her appointment, they were told they missed their appointment, it was 9:45 and they need to reschedule. My sister has health issues and has to have someone bring her to appointments, this was a massive inconvenience for both my sister & my niece (who had to travel over 45 minutes to get there). My sister does not want to go back (this was NOT her 1st time there either) because of the mix up.

I said no and that should be it. Although I could read the smallest letters on the eye chart, he told me I definitely needed glasses/contacts, I have a clot in my eye, and needed to reconsider a dilated exam. He was incredibly rude and cut me off several times although asked me questions. Awful What ever happened to patient rights? I left there in tears and now I can't get another exam due to my insurance. He told me I had to come back in a few months, which I scheduled with a different doctor in his practice. I'll never recommend him to anyone.
