Brought in my Wife to look at the PanAm bags. My wife is very curvy and has trouble finding clothing in this style that isnt skin tight. Audrey was so helpful in finding a dress that made her look absolutely gorgeous. There was also a Jumpsuit that I saw that I liked so I asked her to try it on and Audrey and I were thrown back by how well the jumpsuit looked on her. Audrey really knows how to pick out clothing for the different women that shop her boutique. Even though my wife was nervous of trying on dresses Audrey picked out stuff she knew would look good on her without trying to oversell. I really love the boutique. All the clothes are unique and have a classic/vintage flair to them. If you don't want to wear what everyone else will be and looking smashing - this is where you go. I will be sad when they move to Burbank. It was a great addition to Glendale and Kenneth Village. I took away two stars because I have been going there every so often since Audrey K's open up in the Village a few years ago. And although I've bought something every single time I've come in there - I am never treated well. Maybe it is the time I come in or something, but while I'm in the store invariably, the next customer will be greeted. It might just be me or just odd timing, but it has stuck in my mind. Otherwise service is good, the transaction is always quickly and professionally done. It is a little pricey but most of it is really worth it. I absolutely love this store! I always find one of a kind gems here. I'm obsessed with cap sleeves and this seems to be the only place that actually carries some beautiful dresses with cap sleeves. Audrey is awesome btw, she will just let you chill and browse, but she's an amazing resource if you need her. She was so helpful, down to suggesting shoes and jewelry with the awesome dress I found. I am definitely more pear shape, and have always found something that I actually feel comfortable wearing here. Dresses that hug you in all the right spots and still have the glam classy feel. I love Audrey K and this review is long overdue! They have consistently cute, comfortable, and fashionable clothing. All of the ladies that work here are so nice and helpful, they do an amazing job helping you find the right dress or outfit. I love that this store is constantly getting new clothes for each season and they have unique and original dresses that you cannot find online or at any other store. They also have perfect gifts to give other people like cute socks, pins, and cards. I live about 30 minutes away from Burbank but it is always worth the drive to go to Audrey K and walk around this cute neighborhood. I also went here for a clothing auction that was SO MUCH FUN, and I was able to score lots of clothes for under $20! Other than auctions, they have other fun events so it's worth it to follow their social media to keep up on when they get a new shipment of clothing or they have a new event coming up. I spent $393 in this boutique. One of the items that I bought was a dress for $65. On my receipt it gave the internet site of the store. When I viewed the online items, I saw this same dress listed for $44. I took the dress back to the store and asked for a credit for the difference. This was a dress that was available in every size, and not like it was a one-of-a-kind clearance item. Immediately the owner gave me a reply that her policy of, "everything is a FINAL sale!" She even told me that she was working to put her son through college. She threw my receipt into the bag that I had returned the dress in and said, "I am going to stand by my decision." I felt humiliated and regret all of the merchandise that I had purchased. read more

What a wonderful shop- although I only got a little glimpse of it- and what a wonderful shop owner!!! So I walked in on a special event, and although they were closed to the public, Audrey still let me purchase the Besame make up I was looking for. Then, an hour after I left, I couldn't find my Chanel sunglasses. I called the shop and Audrey told me she hadn't seen them, but took my number in case they showed up. Less than 5 minutes later, she called and we made arrangements to have my husband pick them up. Once again, ALL WHILE HER SPECIAL EVENT WAS GOING ON!! Very disappointed in my experience here. I came in today with my mother and the customer service was beyond HORRIBLE. First, my mother had a question about sizing and was treated very poorly by both Audrey K employees and PUG employees. However, we didn't give it too much thought. While waiting in line my mother was admiring the photos on the wall and asked the owner who the woman in the picture was. She responded clearly annoyed and very rude that it was her mother. I don't see why an owner of a business would treat some one like this when my mother was simply admiring the work. We were standing in line for the dressing room for over 20 minutes and my mother had to use the restroom. She asked if they had a bathroom and they said no. She asked for the nearest bathroom and they sent her to a tiny restaurant across the street that you needed a key to use the bathroom. I simply don't understand the bathroom issue. Especially when you are going to have customers waiting in line for 30 mins + you should have access to a bathroom. Finally, when it was almost time to go into the dressing room we asked if we can go in the room together and help one another and at the same time allow the line to move faster. They didn't allow it. I was told I could stand out side and she peek in to help her with the zipper. This simply makes no sense to me especially because I was carrying my items in my hands, so essentially I was in the dressing room anyway with someone standing over us watching us. While I was zipping up my mother the dressing room beside became vacant and the lady "monitoring" the dressing room tried to give it a way to another person. I told her I was technically next and only helping my mother as I was instructed. She did apologize and realized what she did but by the time I got into the dressing room I was completely dissatisfied with my experience and did not want to buy anything. This is such a shame because they do have cute products. I will not spend money at a store that treats people like we are going to do something wrong. I especially do not care how for the manner in which they treated my mother. There is no other way to say it other than the, the owner acted like a total snob towards my mother. If I had not been in line waiting for my mom I can assure you they would have made her get in line all over again. It is very sad to see what customer service has come to and customers and made to feel uncomfortable. read more

It's a beautiful boutique with quality dresses that are appropriately priced. The vintage style works best when it doesn't feel like a costume. I went to Audrey K's hoping to find something for my girlfriend and was pleased to find the owner, Audrey, who was very helpful. I was not sure what to get and talking with her made it so much easier. It is alway's cool to get a womens opinion especially when you are not sure what to get our girlfriend. The place was pretty cool too. Lot's of really interesting and hip clothes. I ended up purchasing some great jewelry that was hand made by a local artist. The owner has started carrying a few choice vintage finds (purses, an amazing 50's sundress I saw yesterday), and also her own line of simple 50's-inspired dresses. She stocks uber-cute bags that are vegan-friendly (read fake leather), and terrific, distinctive jewelry. My sister brought me to Magnolia Street during my visit from Chicago. This was by far my favorite boutique. Audrey is super friendly and helpful. She even suggested some things for me to do during my visit! They have the cutest accessories. They said that they only buy one of each accessory so if you like it you should get it. A a few months ago my daughter and I visited my best friend who lives in Simi Valley. We had lunch in Burbank one day and decided to walk around the local shops. We fell in love with the retro feel of Audrey K's. While there my friend commented that the store had the Classic Kit Cat clock she remembered her mother having and said she always wanted one of her own. Audrey who was very friendly told us they now come in other colors but the black is the original and all are from the original company who has been making them in America since 1932. Then she asked where we were from and when I told her Chicago she said, "just to let you know we ship anywhere". A light bulb for a future birthday gift idea for my friend went off in my head so I grabbed her business card from the counter. A few months later I ordered the black Classic Kit Cat clock from Audrey K's online store for my friend and emailed Audrey to let her know I wanted to wait a week to send it so it would arrive on her birthday. At that same time Audrey was emailing me saying she noticed I ordered the Kit Cat clock for someone who lives in Simi Valley and said if I didn't mind she could gift wrap it and deliver it to her on her birthday since she lived close to my friend. I couldn't believe she was willing to do that and of course I said "that would be great". Audrey delivered the Kit Cat clock in a beautiful gift bag and my friend was so surprised and loved it. She said Audrey was so sweet. Audrey communicated with me via email the whole time letting me know she was delivering the surprise package on time. This was such outstanding customer service. I have never encountered a place of business that was willing to personally deliver birthday cheer! Audrey is the best! My shopping trip was made fabulous by Audrey herself! Audrey K was the second store my friend and I visited on a walk along Magnolia St. I found a red and white polka dot dress (size L) and a romper (size L) that fit perfectly. I also noticed that both pieces were made in the USA, which makes me happy because I love supporting locally made items as well as small businesses! I asked Audrey if I could put both items on hold while we shopped at other stores and she gladly agreed. She gave me her card and reminded me that the shop closed at 6pm. A friend highly recommended this boutique, so I decided to check it out. I called the store around 4:45 on a Saturday to see when they closed. The woman on the phone said 5, so I said nevermind, but she said if I wanted to come in, it was no problem. I got there a little after 5. I was really hesitant at first, because looking around, I didn't see too much that seemed my style. It's modern vintage, which I like, but don't really wear. However, the owner, Audrey, was THE most helpful person I have ever worked with in a store. She asked me what I was looking for, helped me find some things, and gave her honest opinion. She gave me alot of stuff to try on that I wouldn't in a million years have even taken off the rack, but it looked *amazing* on me! And if she thought something didn't work on me when I walked out of the dressing room, she told me, and why. I also appreciated that when I came out with something she thought looked great, but I didn't like, she just said, ok, no problem. There was no pressure. Even though she was supposed to close, she worked with me for almost an hour! She also gave me tips on what flatters me, and what to avoid when shopping. (Something I always need help with...) The prices were a wee bit higher than I would normally pay, but I felt so confident and so fantastic in the things I did purchase, I didn't mind the price. I know I'll get my money's worth. My closet is full of stuff I paid less for, but rarely wear. I know that won't happen with what I got at Audrey K. The pieces are timeless and classy. And honestly, I felt like I also had my own professional stylist working with me for an hour. Never before have I walked out of a store so happy about my entire experience. read more
