All throughout the store there are shelves up high with vignettes assembled by color. They are so thoughtful and full of good things that are sold twice a month. Plan on a few hours in this store. Plenty of room for carts, everything is grouped thoughtfully and THEY HAVE IT ALL! You'll be so tickled because there's a huge vintage section with items that aren't jacked up in price. In the back, there's a room with curated vintage. On the day we visited, everything except clothes were half off. SUPER COOL. The clothes in the back were extra special and still reasonably priced. Arts and craft items were sorted. The majority of art was hanging on the wall. I had the best time in this store- they really had everything you could think of. And the ministries they serve are varied and well run. Kudos to Helping Hands. We're visiting from Nashville, but we plan to visit again one day!

It is nicely organized and the quality and variety of clothing is nice. The prices can be a little high for used items but they often have sales on certain color tags. They do also have upscale items like designers purses and shoes. For consigning you don't need an appt and they take items Mon, Wed, and Friday up to 30 items per visit. You get paid cash or store credit on items that sell. Overall, I haven't made much money but they do seem very picky on what they take b/c they have such a huge stock of clothing. Since about 90% of the stuff at "The GW Outlet" is junk, if you do find something special, you're clever indeed. Once you've found something to die for there, you're hooked! It takes a bit of getting used to--at first, the smell and the nothing-but-crap will be abhorrent. Then, you find "it" and you're absolutely certain there are plenty of "its" to search for. When you're digging around in the place, your troubles are miles away since you can only focus on the task at hand. The pricing is fabulous--by-the-pound--and the checkers are so friendly. They also don't provide bags so be prepared to fill a cart and carry out. Clothes are weighed and cost around 1.50 a lb and housewares are about the same. Books are 50 cents and they have furniture and big stuff too. I have found a lot of nice, still tag on clothes here after sorting through along with a lot of good cookbooks and canvas art. Not sure how accurate their big scale is but it is still a good deal for everything you get.
