An AMAZING store!! As you enter, you'll see a huge window with an amazing vignette. Right now its Alice in Wonderland. All throughout the store there are shelves up high with vignettes assembled by color. They are so thoughtful and full of good things that are sold twice a month. Plan on a few hours in this store. Plenty of room for carts, everything is grouped thoughtfully and THEY HAVE IT ALL! You'll be so tickled because there's a huge vintage section with items that aren't jacked up in price. In the back, there's a room with curated vintage. On the day we visited, everything except clothes were half off. SUPER COOL. The clothes in the back were extra special and still reasonably priced. Arts and craft items were sorted. The majority of art was hanging on the wall. I had the best time in this store- they really had everything you could think of. And the ministries they serve are varied and well run. Kudos to Helping Hands. We're visiting from Nashville, but we plan to visit again one day! read more

Awesome store with lots of great items! Very organized and wonderful people that work/volunteer there.

I have not used their services or shopped here, but my family and I help out at their garden, which provides fresh food to those in need. We did tour the facility a little bit one time. They help those in need, by helping pay their bills. A certain amount per family is allotted per year, I can't remember the exact amount though. They also help give food to those in need as well, which is when the garden comes in handy. They have a lot of different types of food, not just produce. They also give recipes out to help people know how to cook certain foods that they don't normally cook with. Great organization! read more

Helping Hands is a nonprofit thrift store that is far from clean. Disabled and have to use their restroom facilities? The restroom is nasty and there is a leak directly over the only women's handicapped stall. If you are in a wheelchair or use a mobility device? I would recommend staying away because it is junked up and there are a lot of areas that don't meet ADA's 3 feet minimum for space to move around in the store. Now let's talk employees.... The guy running it, Bill, was extremely hateful and refused to honor signage that was up and his reasoning was the sale was the day before. Even Walmart honors dining that is a mistake and this is a thrift store, they literally have no money in their product. I know that this place uses the $$ in our community but i rarely hear of any of the works that the profits are used for. i Don't know about you bit this was the last time i will be going there again after this experience. Staff is maintaining all precautions needed during this COVID pandemic. Nicely organized with lots of things for children and youth. Loved the book selections!! Was pleasantly surprised to find a *brand new* hand-puppet of my favorite character (Hedgie the Hedgehog!) of one of my favorite children's book authors, Jan Brett. I will lovingly use it during carpet-time read-alouds. read more

I love this place,! I'm never disappointed always find something new that iv been needing and keep forgetting to get so far I have found everything I went there to find, I have saved $100's of dollars buying here and it helps our community on several levels. read more

Massive store with a wide variety of items. Lots of clothing, almost felt like a tjmaxx or marshalls in regards to quantity and price.

This store is a bit out of the way but worth a stop. I was impressed by its size and organization. Unfortunately, I found the clothing selection to be pretty sad - while items are in good condition, it honestly looks like ONE professional woman donated her massive closet from 1998 - and prices are at least 30% higher than other stores of this type, which I frequent. Again, it's still worth a stop though, lots of housewares and clean furniture was in stock on my visit. They accept debit/credit cards too, which is always nice when you are thrift shopping and run out of cash. read more

They open at 10:00. Better merchandise and layout than Goodwill. Prices are higher though. If you enjoy hunting for bargains, it's worth a trip. read more

I used to shop at Helping Hands often because I felt it supported the community, but then I found out that the volunteers keep all the new or expensive donated items for themselves. I am pretty sure the people who donate aren't aware of this. I have switch to Goodwill and Salvation Army for thrift shopping, and their prices are about half those at Helping Hands. read more
