When the state processed my tax paperwork the state calculated that I actually owed $246.31. Depalantino made an error of over $550! 2) when I inquired with Depalantino about this error their response was "we will get back to you." They did not. I paid the state, and never even got so much as an apology from Depalantino. 3) three months later (July) I got a "payment past due" notice for their tax preparation fee ($280). When I reviewed my Discover Card account I confirmed that I had actually paid them the $280 only five days after they initially billed me in April. Summary: error on tax preparation, failure at customer service, and they can't even keep track of their own finances.
