Let me assure you, those reviews are legitimate, and Fred & Stacy are exceptionally wonderful to deal with. Fred got us in rather late in the tax season, which made me very happy. The experience from that point was as pleasant as having your taxes done could possibly be. Stacy went above and beyond to proactively call me the day before a snow storm, and asked if I wanted to move the appointment. Who does that these days? Exactly no one, that's who. Once we sat down with Fred, he prepared much of the info on the spot, rather than just taking notes and putting our return in a queue. Got a call the next day (yes, you read that right) that everything was ready. Amazing. His fees are consistent with what I'd expect, perfectly fair and reasonable, the office is clean and pleasant, and honestly there isn't one thing that prevents me from rating FJ Koelle & Associates 5 stars +.

The main tax preparer has a history of welfare fraud. Some of the others have debt charge-offs in theirs among other legal issues. For a place where you are exposing your social security, investment account and retirement account information, the people working in a place like this should have squeaky-clean records.
