The tickets carried 2 points each, and the fines were $330-$800. In our consult, Richard said he would get two tickets dropped, and the third ticket amended to no points. He cautioned me that the prosecutor will give me a higher fine to drop the ticket. I was excited at the prospect so I hired him on the spot. I didn't speak to him again until the day before the court appearance. He informed me that he was able to get one ticket dropped, but there would be no points on my record. I'll admit I was disappointed that I had to plead guilty to two tickets, but I was still very grateful for no points. On the day of the court appearance, it was another attorney that I never spoke to before. He spoke with the prosecutor just before court began. I pled guilty and had to pay $230 in fines. Considering the $450 surcharge for 6 points & fines over $400, it was worth it to hire an attorney. Admittedly, I could have spoken with the prosecutor and negotiated a plea before seeing the judge. However, I wasn't willing to take that risk! Overall, I was pretty satisfied & hopeful that I'll never be in traffic court again.

Case Dismissed Without Going To Trial…read more In November 2021, I was falsely accused by a cleaning woman in a major gaming facility of a sex crime, one of the worst crimes in America. They cowardly called the police and without doing any investigation, I was arrested and charged. I was devastated! Something like this has never happened to me. A court appointed attorney was assigned to my case which was a nightmare. She wanted me to accept the offer from the District Attorney which would have been disadvantageous to me and my career in many ways. It was obvious that I was going down the wrong path with this attorney so I asked the judge to remove her from my case and appoint another attorney. The court appointed Mike Schillinger. The first time I met Mike, I was sitting in court and he came over and introduced himself as my new attorney. He appeared confident, easy going and professional. He listened to me thoroughly and assured me that he would work hard to achieve the best outcome for me. I was in the fight for my life and needed an advocate who believed in me and would stand up for me. Mike went the extra mile by filing the necessary court documents and appealing to the judge to consider appropriate legal arguments. Mike's tenacity, focus and legal skills made a tremendous difference in my situation. My case was dismissed without going to trial. He did a remarkable job of which I am very grateful. I would definitely recommend Mike as an intelligent, hardworking and competent attorney. Thanks. Delroy.

In the court room he's confident, unafraid in a place specifically designed to intimidate. However, he's dishonest and doesn't mind a conflict of interest. If it's you vs the DA's office, who do you think he's going to side with? He's going to stay within visible legal bounds but behind the scenes there is no telling what he will do in a situation where it's politically expedient for him to screw you over. His legals skills are not in question. It's his ethics that are shameful. When the judge's eye is on him, he'll act appropriately. Other than that, he will take a mile... Also a confidential information leaker and disseminator. There has to be something fundamentally broken within Melinda Katz's black heart. She failed to abide by her discovery obligations, which invalidated her certificate of readiness, which then resulted in the dismissal of the case they brought against me. Their failure was so egregious that the case had to be dismissed. They withheld discovery and did not mention that the woman of the case assaulted me - punched me in the face and repeatedly kept striking me. They also failed to mention that the Colombian woman (barely spoke English) was on the verge of an expiring visa and gave her ultimate incentive to pursue a case. (Wearing Patagonia and working as a nanny for the rich was more than enough to deceive them.) This bigoted witch tried to treat me as a statistic and kept lying to herself thinking I was just another minority. In court, she even whispered a slur under her breath that was gross and disturbing - even worst in that type of the situation. She said it very low and in my direction to ensure I only heard it. It felt like she stabbed my spirit. Undoubtably she knew it would. For her, it was just another life to butcher. You would think it would have ended there but this sore loser just could not take being outsmarted by an educated young man. So what did she do? She broke the law. She kept a case unsealed after what the judge determined and I believe she used that as a fraudulent tool of harassment. It remained unsealed for over a year due to her illegal obstruction!!!!! It was supposed to be done and over with in 2024 and they are still obstructing the judge's order!!!! I've maintained my innocence in each and every instance and have always been willing to let the facts speak for themselves. There is something else at play here. Places I worked for knew about this case. How did they know? I didn't discuss it. Imagine how embarrassing that is. You put your mind, heart and soul for a favorable outcome because you are on the side of truth. And this miserable witch continues her assault and continuously tries to ruin your career. And this isn't an ordinary person she has the power of taking away your freedom, she's rich and she doesn't use her own money for her sick sadistic sore losing fantasies. She uses the state's money and resources for personal vendettas and to soothe her inflated ego. May god damn her office and her.
