I have been to two great, more traditional chiropractors consistently (one in KC where I used to live and another here in Wichita), where I did find temporary pain relief (left hip) but this is my first provider experience where my left hip pain has been *gone* for several weeks now. This is the first time since the early 2000's that l can recall not having hip pain. My workouts have felt better. My posture, sleep, workout recovery/foam rolling practice, weight lifting routines have all improved with her adjustments, input, and advice. I have a new awareness to my body and health overall. She is very detail oriented. I have felt her true care and concern towards me and my daughter during our evaluations, x-rays, and adjustments. Her answers to my health questions have been pivotol and such a positive influence on my current health journey. She is a rare find and she's in Wichita!! I feel so fortunate that she is here, she is the only NUCCA chiro in town. As a sidenote, she is also a really motivating and positive BodyPump instructor at Opti-Life at 21st and Webb. I did appreciate the doctor's time and she did answer my questions and concerns. I will say that. Let's fast forward to my friend's experience and condition. She spent over $1,000 and had over 30 sessions. She went through the first 20 sessions they also recommended her (see a trend here?) and finally asked for her money back for the next package she purchased. I actually had to take her to the E.R. after an adjustment because her rib was out of place and causing extreme discomfort. Whether it was related or not is hard to prove, but I did know she never had the relief she was hoping for here. I recently went somewhere else and they spent much more time and had more up-to-date equipment. I did not feel rushed at all. Not all chiropractic work is created equally, so do your homework and shop around. That is my only suggestion in my search to get rid of this pain.
