Mike said he could be over in afternoon. Arrived, said he can replace the spring so I could have use of the door at least by opening and closing manually. Our overhead door system had failed for some reason so we called the Overhead Door Company. Their…read moretechnician inspected it and said the motor had failed and that a new motor was needed. We purchased a comparable one and called the company to install it. The technician returned and attempted to install the new motor and assembly. He told us that unfortunately the door sensors that came with the new unit were faulty and we'd have to order new ones. He said he had done all the wiring and that we could install the sensors ourselves. We purchased them and when they arrived, we installed them according to the instructions. But even with the new sensors the unit still did not work. We inspected the wiring and discovered that the technician had connected the sensor wires to the wrong location on the motor. He also had mis-aligned the chain connection. We re-aligned the chain and attached the sensor wires to their correct location. The unit worked perfectly. We called the company and requested a refund. The owner said that he would send us a check for the initial visit ($120 which we gave in cash) and $40 for the sensors we purchased. We paid for the actual installation in full. it's been a month and we have received nothing. We would never use this company again.

I took their recommendation and got a new circuit board. That wasn't the problem. They charged me $150 for incorrect 'service' and I was out the cost of the circuit board. I called about 20 times to speak with the owner about this. He never called back. In fact, the office must have somehow blocked my calls, because they never even answer anymore. Lacking in any knowledge of front gates, and NO customer service. It's a shame that the owner doesn't give a crap about his customers. Stay away from this company for gate repair.
