We ate here two of the four days that we were here for breakfast and it was by far our favorite breakfast spot! It's a walk up with seating outdoors, but there's a cover and here in San Jose Del Cabo. The mornings are incredibly pleasant. It's a perfect way to start a day. Very friendly staff and a beautiful view, with even better food. My wife had eggs and hotcakes and loved them. She like the Pankake so much. She just had them on Monday. I had Huevos rancheros on Saturday and a ham omelette on Monday ... yummmmmm!!! So much to love... Real cream made the coffee delicious. Since I had not had my morning coffee, I ordered the large Americano, while my wife had the small one. She also ordered an orange juice, and commented how fresh and delicious it was, including the pulp. For the food, we ordered the Shrimp and Cheese Omelet, and the Whole Wheat Pancakes. The omelet was excellent, and came with an avocado, charro beans, and a side of homemade hot sauce and freshly made tortillas. I was making myself a mini-burrito with all of this and it was oh so good! The pancakes were some of the lightest I've ever had, and was served with your ch9ice of two eggs or fresh fruit. Since we already ordered the omelet, we opted for the fresh fruit. This dish gave us a nice balance with the omelet. Andres was always available if we needed to order something else, which I did with another Americano. As this was an early Monday morning, we had the place to ourselves. I left there with my stomach full and my mouth very happy. If you're in San Jose Del Cabo, please do yourself a favor and find this little hole-in-the-wall. Believe me, you will be so happy you did.

This family owned restaurant takes care to prepare fresh high quality meals using seasonal and local produce. The menu is on point with numerous vegetarian and gluten free meals, fresh squeezed juices and organic smoothies. I ordered perfectly made huevos rancheros with black beans and avocado and a pineapple cactus ginger smoothie. It was probably the best brunch I have ever ordered. I highly recommend Cafe Calafia!
