We started our shopping day here, and it did not disappoint. We have been to the one in Branson, MO, but we felt this one is even better. There is also an Antique Mall, nice little cafe, and an AWESOME wood carver. This place is like an Etsy Mall of America! We scored a very nice, patriotic table runner for us to use in the summer. Plus, we found a gorgeous U.S. Navy cribbage board that doubles as wall art (round U.S. Navy seal). BONUS: They had Christian music playing for us to enjoy while shopping, and there were plenty of faith-based and conservative craft offerings. TIP: Check out the Game crafter. While we did not buy one, the crafter has really cool "Lawn Washers" games. They take all forms of payment, which makes it convenient if you din't carry cash.

I love this little ice cream shop in the Dells!…read more We usually stop by on any trip to the Dells and our last trip there was no exception. We popped in for dessert aka ice cream. After wandering their shop full of sweet treats, we made our way over to the ice cream counter to order. They have a variety of ice cream and sundaes. I decided on a sundae and it came in a paper bowl that you would purchase at the grocery. It has this nostalgic feel of being at an ice cream social with your volleyball team in the 5th grade (in the best way possible). It's the sort of sundae your grandma might have made that one hot summer after you got sunburned at the pool. Just me? I don't know. I just love the home grown simplicity of both their ice cream sundaes and the presentation. They have a small seating area where my group was able to grab a seat and enjoy our ice cream. Whether your looking for a scoop, sundae, or box of chocolates--this is a great spot to stop on any trip to the Dells. Get to it!

It's way more than furniture: this is your chance to taste, touch, or smell rural Wisconsin. (It smells better than cows, trust me) There are so many treasures in this store, and the only thing uniting them as they are almost ALL local! Fabulous! Furniture is made by the Amish, but they also have blankets as well. Local jams, cheeses, candles and other local flavor. I bought a sharp cheddar with Wisconsin huckleberries strewn throughout the cheddar, and was very impressed that such a small town could have such delicious and exotic cheese. I'm giving it a rare 5-stars simply because places like this are difficult to find, especially in very rural communities. The Amish House also somehow avoided any "touristy" feel. If ever traveling through on I-39 and you want a little taste of rural Wisconsin, Amish House will leave you with a good flavor.

KDC Traders has a bit of a sharper edge. They had all sorts of glass collectibles, gothic themed knick knacks (dragons galore), as well as vintage themed collectibles (Elvis, Marilyn, Betty Boop, and the like). It's not the biggest gift shop in the Dells but it's packed full of chachkies. Which, really, is what the peruse down Broadway is all about. Get to it!

They carry local scented soy candles. I purchased an orange spice scented candle to bring home (lovely). They also have some fun lotions and soaps in addition to a wide variety of nicknacks.
