The woman who greeted me asked if it was my first visit and then explained that there were several rooms to be sure and visit since the shop doesn't have a straight forward flow. You generally make your way in a circular pattern, but there are some offshoots that she wants people to be able to explore too. I found the quality of items to be better than the "flea market" type antiques shops. This seemed well organized and junk free. This is the kind of place I would return to just to see if there was something I missed or was new. A little history about the building this is in…read more The McGregor House was built in 1885. It is located in Brazil, Indiana. This former bed and breakfast was turned into the local YMCA back in the 1920's. In the 1940's the gymnasium was added onto the home. The gymnasium has original hardwood floors and subway tiles. They use I'd guess about 3/4 of the space for display of goods. Prices were a bit higher then I expected. They do have some beautiful pieces. I'm just not sure worth the price. The owner was friendly. She along with the two other customers weren't wearing masks. I'm going to have to start getting use to that and assume they are vaccinated and not just...
