I found everything I needed and was impressed at the many choices I had. The make up/beauty area was well stocked and they had a ton of home supplies too. I noticed that the store was super organized and clean. Everything was in it's place. The displays at the front looked great too. I had a couple of questions and the staff member was super helpful. She was knowledgeable and pleasant. Parking is easy which is a plus. I'll definitely stop into this CVS the next time I'm in town if a need to pick anything up quick.

On a recent trip, I was walking by Sandy Popper when something in the window at Modern Apothecary caught my eye. Unfortunately, they were closed at the time, so I made a note to return. On the next trip, after grabbing coffee across the street with a friend, we decided to stop in and finally check it out. The moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with a very abrupt and rude, "We are closing in less than 5 minutes, just so you know." No hello, no welcome--just that. I completely understand if we came in close to closing time, but there's a polite and professional way to communicate that. A simple, "Just so you're aware, we're closing shortly, but feel free to take a quick look around," would've made all the difference. Instead, we felt so unwelcome that we looked at each other and walked right back out. First impressions matter, and sadly, this was both my first and last visit to Modern Apothecary. With so many kind, customer-friendly places in Kenosha, I'll be supporting other local businesses in the future.

While waiting, I watched an interaction at the counter. An elderly couple came for their vaccine. They were being helped by Charis (I asked her her name on my way out). Charis, at the very hectic window, was so patient, professional, kind and helpful. She displayed a wonderful disposition and attitude at a very busy time. She was scurrying around in the back, making sure things were just right. Her above and beyond attitude didn't go unnoticed. Watching her made my time go by with gratitude and being thankful that there are wonderful human beings in this world who genuinely do want to help. Kudos and thank you, Charis. You made my day at Walgreen's pharmacy a little brighter. A big shout out to Annette, the pharmacy tech who administered my vaccine. Annette was also professional, patient and kind. A great experience and I'm looking forward to my second vaccine dose in 4 weeks.

I still stop in while visiting my grandparents who still live out there. Pharmacy Station filled a lot of my medications and I got to shop while waiting. The staff members are always friendly and helpful. This is like a collectible and gift shop that has food and a gas station. It is way cooler than I have described it. I have purchased many gifts here over the years. They have packer stuff, greeting cards, health and beauty items, clothing and accessories as well. You can always find a bargain on accessories and most any gift item. I always seem to find a really great scarf for a few dollars. They do clearance their merchandise seasonally. So now's the time to go in and buy your summer stuff at a discount. If you are looking for something special, they will help you find it or they will order it for you.
