Roque Nublo is an experience not to miss if you're on the island of Gran Canaria! This majestic rock formation offers amazing views around the whole island. The hike to the top is of medium difficulty, but totally worth it once you reach the summit and behold the rocky tips and breathtaking landscape stretching out before you. My partner and I brought a picnic, and loved eating up there.
From the top, you can marvel at stunning panoramas of the island and the Atlantic Ocean that are really special. It's the perfect spot for snapping incredible photos and soaking up some wind-swept nature.
The hike might be a bit challenging in some steep places, but you can do it! The trail is well-marked, and there are spots where you can pull off to catch your breath. Make sure to pack plenty of water and sunscreen, especially on hot days.
The natural beauty here is superb. Going to the peak a unique experience that you've got to have while on Gran Canaria. Panoramic views, exercise in the fresh air, and natural beauty make it worth your time--and the drive up to the parking area is pretty great too.
