The best part about the water park is that it has a little cafe attached to it. So it was easy to jump out and get snacks for the kids without having to dress everyone. The proximity to the beach was great. There was a supermarket next door and lots of food options in the area. Our room was decent. It took a little longer to get into the room than we would have liked and no one called to tell us it was ready (they said they would). All in all a great place and we are planning to come back.

The resort offers a restaurant and bar - but the main draw card was the kids water pool playground area. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The room looked liked it had been recently refurbished. It had modern furniture and decor with a lovely kitchen area. My only dislikes about the hotel were :- 1. The room was very very Dusty.. Thank God the hubby had some Telfast on hand! I was sneezing away and had terribly itchy eyes and nose.. :( 2. The noise from outside our room from other guests in the hall ways and car park were really loud.. And also the constant slamming of doors from other rooms front doors was so annoying.. Overall, the hotel is okay if your staying for a short time and have kids to entertain.. But, the price point is quite high in my opinion..

Are drive was Tim who was nice but was hoping for someone with more character and excitement. It was very bumpy on the day we went, apparently more than normal. Agee people had neck pain after. So if you suffer from neck or back pain maybe wise to sit this one out. The lake is just breathtaking. And than the drive back along rainbow beach. Wow wow. I never wanted to leave.
