It turned out that we did the 1 hour massage undraped but since the room was pretty dark it was ok. Maisie is a very skilled and talented therapist and understands the human body quite well. She was very nice and offered me a cold bottle of water to take with me. I still give her a good review although I found the room darkness to be unusual. Nice bodywork Maisie! It is located in a great spot in South Austin. The space is simple in a small shopping center, and it was very clean with nice decor and a modern feel with a cute design. This is not a fancy spa vibe, so if that is your cup of tea, go elsewhere. It was easy to find free parking. The massage itself was good. Maisie did a great job on my back and neck, which is where I asked her to focus. I liked how she used her forearms in addition to her hands to help stretch tight areas. The massage felt rushed, however, and she only used 50 of the 60 minute time slot. I checked my phone before I got on the bed, and we wrapped up in under 50 minutes. Booking with Maisie was really easy through texting to find a time that worked for both of our schedules. She sends great reminders and also offers deals on booking future massages and add-ons. I feel like if I went back to Maisie I would want a 90 minute massage for the whole experience, as it felt more rushed than I would like for some areas of my body like my legs. Her non-Groupon pricing was higher than I could afford to rebook, which was a bummer as in the past I have met my regular massage therapists via Groupon and kept booking with them. She does offer some specials though for booking in advance, so be sure to ask about that if you like her style.

I wasn't expecting much, given the time of day and the fact that it was Sunday, but she was able to get me in a 4:30 that same day! Huge plus. Not only was Jackie able to get me in on short notice on a holiday weekend, but I was able to save some dough on my last-minute massage! Score! Jackie was very nice and professional. The room was well-lit with natural light, and very soothing. The only thing I would have liked to have was some music playing- or nature sounds- because the silence was a little awkward. I felt great when she was done, and if I'm ever back in Austin I'll be sure to come and visit again!

She always listens to my needs- and figures out other things I didn't know I needed work on until she starts working on them. I'm not kidding when I say I've told her multiple times that I love her while she's working on me- she uses her entire body to work on you and its crazy amazing. Hopefully I've never creeped her out with my words of Love and Joy, LOL =) but Jackie is really easy to talk to with a good sense of humor, so I know she actually takes it well.
