Since this is the second phase on this section of our property, we only needed clearing of bushes and underbrush, grading, fresh soil and seeding. Tree removal and trimming was done this past Spring and walls, plants, beds, and specimen trees will be done in phase three, much of which we can do ourselves. Here's the point: they showed up on time, did the work as stated, finished on time, and cleaned up. Price was exactly as stated. Very professional outfit. I'd hire them again. My first experience was paying for 3 yards of compost. Well my truck could only hold 2 1/2 cu yds without a tarp and after going back in to speak with the young lady at the table, she wrote on my receipt for me to be able to come back and get the remaining compost with no hassle. The compost was of great quality. And my mother in law was very impressed. The reason this was such a surprise to me because I live literally 5 minutes or less away from another company like this in Matthews. I thought they had the best prices until my MIL showed me the price sheet for Visions. Fast forward,now I drive 15+ mins to Visions to get my black mulch at about $35 a cu yd when I was previously paying $40ish cu yd for less quantity and quality. The mulch is nice and dark and it last a lot longer than the previous store I was getting it from. 2 weeks ago I was spreading mulch and ran out maybe a half of a yard short. While not having much time to get back to Visions(about an hour before the closed) i decided to go to the company right down the street from me. I walk in and ask the lady for 1/2 cu yd of black mulch. She informed me that they were out and for some reason no one in the area could get black died mulch in stock due to covid. Now this was funny as I literally just biut some some Visions a couple of hours prior. Needless to say, I waited until Monday and went back to get another yard. I would definitely recommend Visions as I have already to my neighbors.

But for some reason the last invoice he sent went to my spam, as if it was sent from a different email account. Long story short he didn't get paid because I didn't receive the invoice until I reached out and asked about it. He sent it to me directly and I paid it. Well I guess he was not happy about that and no longer answered requests to schedule my next cut. Complete radio silence. I had already paid him for the first cut without issue. The second cut's invoice was a weird spam issue. A simple mistake. But then to completely ignore everything after was very unprofessional. Like I said the work he did was great. But that weird silent treatment was not acceptable. That is what keeps him from getting 5 stars. The only reason I am writing this review is for the fact that I am in search of a lawn care company again. I am no longer cutting my own grass and when I requested quotes, he was the first to give me a quote which made me laugh.
