I already loved the fact that superfoods had been added as possible toppings for a delicious yoghurt or smoothie, but there are more additions to the menu: High tea, High choc, Barn breakfast, Barn brunch, Barn lunch, Barn bite and an assortment of delicious Barn snacks. All ranging from naughty cakes&biscuits to healthy sandwiches and dips. I know I can't wait to try everything so I keep coming back every Monday with le boyfriend to sit back, relax and have some down time before out busy weeks start up again. So, Yoghurt Barn, I already thought you were amazing, but now I think you're the best!

Even if you're not into yoghurt it's still a nice place to hang out, study or work (there's wifi!) with a cup of coffee.

I bought a litre of the stuff to last me through winter and when they open again in summer, I'm ordering loads more! Also, I believe it's one of the staples, hazelnut ice cream. Try. This. It is heaven! And a little bonus for the lactose intolerant; goat's milk ice cream! If you're ever in Utrecht craving ice cream, definitely put in the effort to walk to Il Mulino. I think we were the first to arrive for dinner around five. We quickly settled on the option for a "carte blanche" chef's choice (four courses plus extras for 50 Euro). That sort of dinner is my post-night-flight ideal: Something exciting to keep everyone up late enough to ward off jet-lag, gladly entrusting many of the decisions to someone more awake. They suggested it would be reasonable to split that for two between our family of three, given the kid's smaller appetite, that was definitely the correct call. The meal was phenomenal, every dish was a beautiful blending of textures and flavors. They cleverly paired the dishes for each course. Everything looked perfect, starting with the food, but the whole dining area was a lovely space, including the view into the open kitchen. Even the flower arrangements around the dining room were strikingly beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed a beer from Utrecht's own Brouwerij Eleven to accompany my meal. Koenraad's selection of beer is smaller than their extensive wine list, but has a reasonable amount of variety. I didn't look at the wine list in detail, but the other parties present seemed pleased with their selections.

The white chocolate had pieces of white chocolate inside and it mixed really well with the berry ice cream. There was a lot of awards/press on the walls about how good the ice cream is here.
