This is the seemingly bigger and busier Radiology centre of the two Adelaide Radiology locations, but like its counterpart, its car parking and entering is complex. The car park is at the rear, turning left off South Road before it. If you park elsewhere nearby, having missed the turn, the entrance and reception is right around the back near that car park.
Once inside, things are all efficient and friendly. I had an appointment but showed up early, and they processed and fit me in, did the procedure all before the time my appointment was actually scheduled for. I'd also taken probably longer than others, as I hadn't had breakfast and almost fainted. I am not sure whether it truly was or not, but the room to me seemed a bit airless and warm. It wasn't boiling, but I assume they make it that temperature because people are in the room largely in the altogether whilst being examined.
To remedy my almost-faint they let me lie down for a bit, said I didn't have to have a big injection that day if I didn't want to, and gave me some cookies. After the lie down and the cookies I perked up enough to have the big injection which did not hurt anywhere near as much as they said it would (or perhaps I thought it would).
Both the person who gave me an ultrasound and the doctor who gave me an injection were absolutely professional and at all times I felt safe and secure. read more
