Upon surrending my Medicare at reception, I didn't have to wait for my name to be called by the attending physician, instead I was brough immediately into the emergency room and attended by the nurse. The doctor saw me immediately and later I was whisked to the Xray room, whilst the other nurse cared for my sons ( very sweet of them!), and onced the results came out, the doctor saw me again and shared it was a soft tissue injury in absence of a broken arm. Extremely pleased with the service, attentive staff and you don't need to wait long to see the doctor. Perfect for parents with kids especially after office hours and the weekends, should an emergency arise.

Vending machines dispense sandwiches, drinks etc and during working hours the Kiosk run by volunteers has the best priced sandwiches in the area. If you can, stroll down Gallery A to the right of Emergency entrance - the artworks may help you refocus and relax for a few moments. The standard of care is world class, all medical and non-medical staff are expert and professional, training and procedures are very obviously rigorous, and the level of communication between departments is fantastic (though not perfect). We never felt like we were being pushed out, not even for a minute - in fact, at the slightest indication that there might be something further that needed checking out, we were told to stay for further testing and monitoring. Parking is a bit of a hassle - the two official car parks are nearly always full (but the one under the hospital is a baffling $12 for 48hrs!). There is plenty of street parking if at least one person is willing to walk a bit, but most of it is 2P on weekdays, so beware (I saw them giving fines, although I didn't get one myself). If you don't mind a 10-minute walk up to Barton Terrace, there is unlimited free parking up near the horse paddock up there. The hospital cafe is good, cheap, and has a decent selection of packaged and fresh food, as well as free tea and free instant coffee. There's a lot of space and it's never crowded. $10.50 for a full meal during meal times. Like all hospitals, there are people smoking outside the entrance where it's highly irritating to everyone, even though there is a perfectly good smoking area just across the road with benches and ashtrays. This doesn't have anything to do with the hospital administration, it's more of a general gripe against annoying people, but I needed to get that out there, so thanks for listening. I was directed to this company's services by another of my child's specialists. I rang them and the receptionist gave me all the information I needed on what I asked for in the first phone call. Which was great. I then made a booking, granted they are specialists so I had to wait a few months for an appointment. I also go t sent a huge amount of paperwork to fill out before the appointment, so lucky I had plenty of time! The cost was quite high and medicare really didn't cover much at all. However it was a specialist service and they did provide us with a very comprehensive report with all the results of their testing and recommendations to assist us with future planning. So for what they did the cost was probably in actual fact quite comparitive and not exhorbitant at all. On the day he had to go in there they were fantastic with him. No issues, he did all their tests and games and was finished within about an hour, if that. Great customer service, smooth process and provide a very valuable service if she should need it.

Now in my adult life, on the rare occasion that I choose to visit a clinic this is the one I still stand by. It's convenient, its local and it is covered by Medicare. The staff are friendly and the Doctors for the most part (but not whole part) are great. Additionally I find Kingswood Clinic to be fairly efficient and unlike many other clinics, I have never found myself waiting long to see a Doctor. Having said that, it definitely helps to make an appointment prior to attending.

They certainly should but any excuse to keep our hard earned money in their hands they will endeavour to find Nevertheless the service I received during a very busy day was outstanding. Since my problem was orthopaedic and there is a Sports Injury / Orthopaedic Clinic on site when I was eventually seen by the ED doctor I was quickly referred to the right folk. Again this is a busy place and not all the patients were as tolerant as they should be. Regardless all the staff were kind, courteous, compassionate and professional. The clinical education and treatment was outstanding. So if you have $380 and want top quality care it's worth the cost. But do be nice to the staff. And remember they will be patients there alot sicker than you.

Tragic - I know, but I'm one of those who goes to the doctors only under duress, and as such it tends to be a reasonably urgent affair. This is the number one reason why I keep coming back here, it is really easy to get an appointment, and if you call early they'll get you in on the same day. So when the hedge clippers take your pinky off you know where to go! Just kidding - you should probably go to the emergency room. This doctors surgery doesn't bulk bill, so come prepared to pay and wait for your check in the mail... it's usually around $40 for a consult and you get somewhere around $25 back. It's also common that you'll have to wait - I'm pretty sure they run and average of 20 min to an hour behind schedule but I like the enforced downtime.
