There are tons of options, including many vegetarian ones, and I have yet to try a dish that wasn't beautifully made, with balanced, light flavors. There are lots of beans, lentils, vegetables, yogurt-based sauces, olives, cheeses, stews, bread, tea, three or four variety of starchs--rice, couscous, bulgur, etc-, burek, fried stuff, baked stuff, boiled stuff.... Sometimes, if I need to eat one meal in a day, I'll go here. Second: the people that work here come from various places--Turkey, Lebanon, Germany, Cuba...ALL of them (that I've met) are friendly, generous, and welcoming (and patient as I point at the different foods to pile my plate with!). The atmosphere of the restaurant is awesome: a clean, simple yet warm vibe, classical music playing, and a back room where you can look onto the back yard.
