This creates an environment of stress for the child to reach those expectations. The pick up is chaotic. Very noisy in the cafeteria. It takes the teachers a long time to escort the child to the cafeteria for dismissal. There is no grassy area for the playground and thus children must play in the parking lot which is not safe. The massive amount of homework assigned to the student can be overwhelming so be prepared for that. Their school uniforms can only be purchased at one particular store and they are expensive. Overall, the school needs improvements to help children have fun while learning and not experience pressure to perform at the teacher's high expectations.

At 2 months old, a child is not crying simply because he wants attention. - Took him outside in almost 90 degree weather wearing 2 layers even though we told the staff that he had an inside layer on when we dropped him off. - They will not try to feed your child for more than 15 minutes so I would advise you to tell them to feed on demand. - It took 2 to 3 weeks to get access cards and we only got it finally because we caught the director on the same day that a parent had returned cards. - I saw a kid wallowing in his vomit two times and had to point it out to a teaching assistant. Positives: - The infant head teacher pays close attention to her kids. But she is not always there and she knows that her assistants are not good. - I appreciated their milestone review of my son which was helpful. - Not having to pay for diapers or wipes is a plus and receiving a discount for bringing in breast milk is a plus.

Even now, I still see that many of the recent valedictorians of our Suffolk private high school are Christopher Academy alumni (our high school sends us the graduation mailer every year). Long story short- the curriculum, class size, and amazing teachers here laid a foundation for us all that put us ahead of our peers at our Suffolk private school, college & beyond. My parents STILL donate to this school 18 years later & do not donate a nickel to the previously mentioned school that we went to for middle/high school.
