Dr Auth and Auth Chiropractic in Dillon is a LIFESAVER. I Went there because he's in network but he was also in Best of Summit. After suffering with excruciating sciatica issues over the long Easter weekend, I got into see him. I was shocked when the receptionist called back and said "can you come at this time instead because he wants to be able to spend more time with you." When do you hear that from a doctor anymore? Dr Auth is knowledgeable, compassionate, explains things thoroughly and truly cares about getting you well. He's had sciatica issues and understands the pain. I felt better after the first visit but what was most important was after three visits in a week he had me able to go on a 3 week Panamá Canal cruise I was afraid I'd have to cancel. I will be seeing him and have been recommending him to everyone. I'm amazed at how many other people I've recommended him to already know of him and how wonderful he is!!! It's very hard to find the right chiropractor but when you find one...you go back! I spend the summer away but won't go to anyone else but Dr. Auth. My herniated disc as evaluated by a doctor was extreme and I was in constant pain. Within 5 months of seeing Dr Auth my disc returned to its normal position and I am pain free!! So I went here on vacation after waking up and not being able to move my arm past my shoulders or being able to turn my head normally. Dr Auth and staff got me set up for a last min emergency appointment and after one session!!! They took x-rays right then and there. I was able to move my arm again and got some motion back in my neck. Dr. Auth is gentle, takes time to understand and speak with me and is honest about how the approach works and what to expect. I went through 25 non medically proven DRS treatments after Dr. Auth miss read my MRI. Which subsequently caused a mis-diagnosis of my condition. I got a minor neck injury while snowboarding back in January this year. I think it would be classified as whiplash: really swollen, could barely turn it most days and woke up in pain almost every night when I turned in my sleep. It was absolutely miserable. I work offshore so I was trying to self medicate with icing, Aleve and heat packs. This went on for about five months until I finally walked into Dr. Auth's office. I've been going to Dr. Auth about twice a week when I'm home for about two months now and I feel no more pain! It's usually just a 10-15 minute appointment for an adjustment for me. It's nice because they are easy to schedule with, even with a hectic job schedule. I once got the deep tissue massage before an adjustment and it was heavenly. I highly recommend that combo if you can splurge every now and then. I'm a full Chiro believer now. I plan to keep Dr. Auth in my routine, especially during ski season. I don't have any major issues but I saw Dr Auth after spraining my ankle in the fall and still visit weekly. Dr Auth can take a look at your posture and diagnose what needs to be adjusted immediately. I had a crick in my neck a few days back and he took a look at my posture and started adjusting my neck before I had the chance to let him know where I was feeling pain. He's the best chiropractor I've seen (been going to different chiros for 10+ years). He knows I'm a slopestyle skier and factored that into my treatment plan. I drive from Breckenridge to get adjusted weekly...it's worth it! And he takes my insurance. read more
