I had wrongly assumed it was a speciality (read: expensive) shoe store with a limited range. Boy, was I wrong. It was stocked to the ceiling with many shoes on sale, but what I really appreciated was the service from the husband and wife team. I walked on a treadmill while my feet were video'd on an ipad and then we watched how my foot rolled/moved in slow motion and what options that meant for my feet. Over the years I've bought shoes online (guessing a suitable model) and also shopped at the warehouse style shops in the city where the poor staff are trying to serve five people at once. Having just spent a few hundred dollars at the physio with an injury she believes might have been caused by the wrong running shoes, I am glad I went to this place. I'm happy to report I've discovered I don't have to pay any more for great service and range and having been signed up as VIPS (a free membership) for an extra 10% discount, we'll definitely be back.

It's not a very big store, and it has a limited clothing range which is not very well discounted, and the same goes for its sports gear. There is some gym equipment, but I'd go to a serious gym outlet store if I was getting anything beyond sporting apparel. However, its shoe range is enormous. There are heaps of styles, built for different purposes, on good specials. I was impressed by the specials bin for footy and soccer boots. Around Harbour Town, this is one of the best places for sports shoes.

Their range of joggers and sporting footwear is average, much better for men and kids than for women. They have a good range of running and sporting clothing, specific to different sports. Good running shorts, longer basketball shorts, lots of Running Bare and Adidas, all at standard prices. The shop assistants are very helpful here, which is a definitely plus in a sports store. Their swimming range is quite limited, as they don't sell any swimmers, just a few pairs of goggles. They have a large range of backpacks, and a few odds and ends of sporting equipment and weights.

When i went in the first time there was a canoe hanging from the ceiling and a sale display set up inside a tent. It's easy to get around the store and the staff at this branch have always been really helpful. They even have a gas refill area just outside the front of the store. They have a fantastic online shop and I prefer to find what I need, the store it is available at, or in stock at, and the price before I leave home. If I don't have a list when I go here I tend to get carried away so best to get in, grab what I came for and leave before I find a few extra bags in the car and $100 less in the bank account!

If you're in to sports and need some shoes, this store will definitely be able to help you out. But if you're after the more fashion based shoes Nike has to offer, disregard this store and head to Hype or Footlocker.

With the help of the friendly shop assistant, she took me up to the highest 2nd level and pointed me in the right direction, and we found the perfect casual pair of going out shoes (complete with the swoosh) at Nike. She was so knowledgeable and informative about every Nike product she showed up, even I was fascinated but how much could be said about each shoe, singlet, and shorts! The swoosh sign for me will always remain retro, yet modern at the same time. Athletes and runners have been picking these shoes for so many years, for one big reason: Nike are hands down the most coolest brand of footwear out there, and it has been for a long time. If it's too expensive for you, their clothing prices are not too high! During most visits I just stare adoringly at those shoes with the Swoosh, but it isn't complete unless you go hunting for that matching singlet and shorts with your shoes...and when you do find them, it's doing time for me and Nike. Just Do It. Go on....I know you want to.

But if you go telling everyone they may sell out! Actually there's a lot of stock, and it is a good variety - the only thing that says this is a shoe warehouse direct to public style of store is the blandness of the interior, but really, who needs plush carpets and snazzy lighting to wiggle their toes? Actually if you tell more than your poorest and best friend, you may bring in some more customers and then between you if you all go together you could end up buying three purchases. If you buy three things and each are worth $50.00 or more you are entitled to a "Loyalty Discount Qualification" (!) which is a 10% discount off of all purchases for twelve months... Not bad eh! Maybe you should tell everyone. Who doesn't love a discount voucher - in a shoe shop even?!

If you weren't looking for it, you would probably not notice it was there. There is literally no indication that there is a shoe shop on that street unless you happen to catch a glimpse of the big red sign (and read what it says) as you drive past. If you do happen to notice the sign, when you turn in all you will see is a parking area with a door towards the end on the right hand sign. Very unassuming, but for the female shoe shopper looking for a bargain, definitely a treat. As a factory outlet store, the shoes they sell there are cheaper than what you'd normally find in Myer or David Jones. Also, they don't sell cheap shoes either and are they actually stock good quality shoes with actual brand names like diane ferari (I can't believe I know this stuff). From boots, to casual shoes to heels, it's a plain looking shop on the inside, but what it makes up for in lack of flash is in its wide selection of shoes for the shoe hungry female shopper.
