We have been looking for a new church near our home, about a year ago a nearby office building…read morechanged hands. Soon after a banner went up stating a new church would be moving in. We kept attending our current church. We decided to visit this new church Lagacy Chapel. We were greeted by volunteers at the front door and were given a tour and told of plans in the works. The folks we meet were very nice and welcoming. We went into a room that was a temporary sanctuary this room was about 40 feet by 30 feet with very comfortable seating caned music was playing. About 30 Parishioners were in attendance. Everything was going well. A gentleman gave a brief welcome ..... then things went down hill the music started, though band members were talented the music was Extremely loud Especially for such a small room. I am a semi retired audio engineer I have several sound pressure level meters on my iphone. I opened one of them the music in the room peaked at 110 db this can be damaging to the eardrum. It was so loud I had to leave the room. Even in the hallway outside of the room the SPL peaked at 86 db. I mentioned the sound level to the very nice woman in the hallway.. after a few minutes she said she texted the sound technician that was running the audio board but got no response. I asked her to pass on my concerns about the exceedingly high sound levels to church leadership. She said "Ill pass it on but they wont listen to me ..the audio technician is just doing what he is told" I'm paraphrasing but this is almost verbatim of what she said. The band played about 3 or 4 songs I went back in the sanctuary the message was given by a guest pastor from the Denver dream center. A good message just a little to much me me me I I I but overall a good message. I have heard very good things about the Denver Dream Center. For me the music was just too loud. I know they are constructing a much larger sanctuary in the building. I plan on visiting again when that is completed. We would also like to hear the regular pastor. I believe this church has a bright future in this neighborhood. It appears to be very family oriented. And has really really good parking which can be an issue at a large church. As I said earlier my only concern is the very loud music. I will attempt to update this review after a future visit One other, thing It appears the church has moved from another location in Highlands Ranch. The location we visited was At about 8200 South Holly St., Centennial, CO.

My husband and I have only been attending here for a couple weeks but we really enjoy this church…read moreso far. The worship is great (there are several new songs that we don't know but are learning) and the messages are simple and sweet and are taught verse by verse. Pastor Ed is definitely passionate yet personal. We hope to keep attending here and to meet lots of new people. The Rez (Resurrection) Coffee Shop is a nice touch. We've enjoyed coffee from there every Sunday. The prices are pretty good and they have a good variety of snacks too.

I love the men's group they have there. I saw the men's group in just 3 years triple in size. A few years ago I went on the Isreal trip they usually have had every year. It was precious to me. The pastors there are good with showing God's word in their sermons. My only issue is that I being a musician for my whole life have prayed to serve as one in the church. I've given notices to the church leaders, but never received a reply. I think the Lord is telling me to continue my pilgrimage elsewhere. You would think they would say "sorry we're all full up with talented musicians here." Maybe some sort of reply, but I got nothing. Not very warm hearted for a church to me.

I really liked him a lot. He retired and two senior ministers shared the duties. I went a few times after Dr. Roger left. It's always different when the head minister changes. I've had mostly wonderful experiences there. I took classes, too. This is not the church for evangelical Christians. If you're looking for guilt, fire and brimstone, this is not the church for you. This is about Law of Attraction and welcomes all. You won't hear any specific politics from the pulpit. It's based in love and peace, and honors the earth. Because it's universal, there won't be a lot of Jesus talk except as he was a great teacher who taught love. The few not so great experiences I've had there were based on who was teaching. Just quit and wait for a different teacher. I live an hour away now. Today, we drove down for a labyrinth walk for peace, aligning with groups and churches around the world. It was wonderful. I cried, realizing how much I've missed this place the past five years. I don't know what's going on administratively and frankly, I'm too old to care. Science of Mind feeds my soul, and that's what counts. For those who are naysayers, understand that the pandemic affected everything including attendance. They've adapted as best as they could. Go there if you want a practice. Go there if you understand that we are responsible for our lives. Go there if you're hopeful and want to join a positive community.

No, but I can say that it is filled with people who are genuine in their relationship with God as well as their relationship with others. It's not a megachurch, but we love that we are known and can know the people who worship alongside us as a "family". We are so grateful to be a part of such a dynamic community.

I looked into this church while church hoping. I went to their Saturday evening service. Whenever I…read morewould come people would say hi and introduce themselves. Very friendly. They teach and go deep into the scriptures which is a plus. They do a rotation with who speaks. If you like hearing different people all the time, that is cool, but for me I like having the same person speak each year so I know what to expect. They sing mostly hymns though and worship is kind of conservative. There were a couple of people raising their hands but i didn't fully feel the freedom to worship how I want. They also do a prayer of confession. So the church somewhat reminded me of growing up in a united church of Christ, Presbyterian, and episcopal with the hymns and prayer of confession. It also seemed their young adult group wasn't really going on. When church hopping, I was looking for a young adult group to connect with, especially with people who are single if possible. When looking at their beliefs, I don't like how they don't allow females to be pastors or preach. I get that they are going off scripture, but I interpret the scriptures differently with that. I would check out the church though, especially if you are looking for somewhere that preaches the word of God and really goes deep into the scriptures. This was just my personal experience and preferences I have for a church.
