This was the class my daughter took with all her classmates and the teacher

Love this place they have classes for yourself or your kids . To learn how to sew or whatever craft they have going on.

Stopped in and needed a vacuum cleaner belt. Well, apparently there are many different kinds of Hoover belts. A nice lady gave me their card and told me to give them a call with the model number so they could see if they carried it. I got the model number and stopped back by on a different day. Score! They had it and it was less than $7! The employees there are all very friendly and helpful.

I called four stores to find the embroidery machine I wanted and other stores either didn't have the machine or they wanted a ridiculous price with horrible financing. NOT Fresno Authorized Vac and Sew! Veronica called me back within an hour and walked me through financing with ease! I was approved over the phone and on my way 111 miles north to my new machine. I signed papers, they loaded my car and I was off to have fun with my Brother Stellaire XE1. I HIGHLY recommend contacting them for your needs. You can't beat their customer service!

My B770 QE - Love, love this machine.

I came in just looking around August of 2020, partly because I was obsessed with sewing machines. As I was browsing around and looking to see if they carried vacuum bags for my two vacuum cleaners, I saw the B770 on the floor. I heard of Bernina but never really gave it a thought. When my mom was alive, she raised me in a household of commercial and domestic machines, huge cutting tables, dress forms, patterns, people getting fitted, all-night sewing, and the whole shebang. She would pop in the sewing machine shops to look at the latest new machines, as I'd follow eagerly behind her. She couldn't afford them, but she had to try them out. It was fun for me nevertheless because I was always intrigued. However, the bug never really hit until April 2021, the pandemic, and retirement. And after sewing a few stitches on that first B770 in August 2020, quiet, precise, and beautifully designed, that was it for me. I researched the history of the brand and knew that was what I wanted. So, Jane, my sales representative, gave me a demo on another model, the B790, and showed me all that it could do, but that one was over my head in cost but sewed like the B770. Jane showed me other machines that were less costly. Then, just before I was about to leave, a lady with a big smile and friendly disposition came over and introduced herself as Veronica, the owner, by the way, asking what machine I was looking at. I believe I was looking at a 5-series. She mentioned having a brand new B770, an unopened box, and for a great price. Anyway, it took me about a month to plan and make up my mind, then in April 2021 is when I got my B770. I have three machines from before, my beginner Janome, a Viking Emerald, the first vintage electronic singer, and now the B770QE. I love it, and the quality is immeasurable, the design is very easy to look at, quite the contrary to other makes and models. I'd be remiss if I didn't say customer service was excellent. I'm a customer indefinitely. Thanks to the entire team as well.

They charge $179 and can't guarantee they can get parts, which cost a minimum of $200 additional. It's cheaper to buy a new machine.

It has a different focus than the other sewing and quilting shops in the Fresno area. Mary Kay, the proprietor is a charming and lovely woman Very attentive to detail. The shop is in an old house. It's been converted to the store. Behind the store there is a converted garage where she has a classroom and holds classes. Check out the calendar. The calendar lists sewing days that you can sign up for, and classes with a variety of techniques for many different types of styles and interests of all types of Quilters. Now down to the Fabrics. She has a focus on Lori Holt from Riley, Blake fabric manufacturer, fresh, bright, and pretty. She also carries a number of major lines from Moda, including the collection for a cause, French general, which is sort of a romantic, antique look, and also Andover prints by laundry basket, quilts. These are things that greatly interest me and other shops in town tend to focus more on modern fabrics and modern quilting with a lot of batiks and modern prints. So I'm glad The Quilted Goat is focused on providing a different sort of inventory. In addition, The Quilted Goat carries a lot of pre-cuts, plus fat quarters if you just want to select a few little pieces to fill out your stash or sample things. She has a whole wall of notions. This is towards the back of the shop. The shop is decorated in kind of a vintage style vibe. Additionally, there are many quilts and samples of sewing on display. One of the quilts, a disappearing nine patch was beautifully displayed, and there is a class coming up on that at the end of January this year 2024 every room has something inspiring, fun, vibrant to get your quilting juices flowing. Mary Kay sends out a newsletter which you can also find on her website. In my opinion, this is the best quilting store in town.
