I've never had any dry cleaning services. My brother is getting married and my daughter is one of the flower girls and I wanted to get her dress dry cleaned as well as my husband's dress pants and shirts. My husband had used this company many times before so he had recommended me to go here to drop of her dress and his clothes. I arrived just around 8:30am on Monday. Once you arrive at the building there's 2 lanes for drive thru. You stay in your car and they come to you. They search your account by your phone number. Since I've never been the lady who assisted me asked me to come in to create a profile which took about 2mins or less. Just name, address, phone and email. I brought in 4 items she gave me a pick up receipt and told me it would be ready for pick up on Wednesday. I picked up the next morning, today at 8:30am I was greeted by one of the kind workers. I gave her my pick up receipt and payment. She brought out the clothes and placed it nicely hanging behind the drivers seat. The clothes look great and for pricing I have nothing to compare it too but it was affordable. So happy with the quality of their work, quick service and their great customer service. I would definitely recommend and come back for my dry cleaning needs. read more

Pre-pandemic I brought all my work clothes and other dry cleaning to Jones at the old (sadly, now closed -- because it was extremely convenient) location on Shaw and West. Now that we're back in the office, I'm going to need regular dry cleaning again and while the Remington location is not nearly as convenient for me as the old location was, I'm very loyal to Jones for the great cleaning they do, the prices (for example, a blazer for less than $10) and the really awesome customer service at all locations. Even with the drive to another part of town, Jones makes it so convenient for customers that it's really not a big deal at all. You don't even need to leave your car: You pull into one of the service lanes out front and you wait (not long at all -- almost immediate) for someone to come out to you. You tell them your name and what you want, and they bring it inside and then bring you out a pickup ticket telling you when to return. When you pick up it's the same process. You pull into the line, and when someone comes out you give them your ticket, and they bring the items out to you -- they even open up the back of your vehicle and hang up the items for you, so you don't have to twist around awkwardly to hang them, or get out of the car yourself. Really nice, cheerful, helpful service, too. Note -- this is how it worked for me as an existing customer, with all my info (address and phone) on file, as well as a form of payment that I've asked them to keep on file. Obviously if you're a new customer they have to set that all up for you, but then it will always be extremely quick after that. Another note -- I believe they still offer pick up and drop off service at your home too. I've got a hybrid schedule now, so I no longer have the mountains of dry cleaning I used to, but if I did (i.e., if I thought the amount of business I could offer them would be worth their while to drive to me for drop off and pick up), I would have asked about resuming that service. I brought in my wedding dress to be dry cleaned and pressed, paying $250. The dress was kept in the packaging provided and not opened until my wedding day. When I put it on, I discovered that the sewn-in bra padding had been torn and was hanging by one side. With only 30 minutes before walking down the aisle, I had no choice but to rip out both sets of pads and wear the damaged dress. I filled out the feedback form they emailed me, explaining what happened and requesting to be contacted (as the form stated was an option). No one ever reached out. My husband called and was told the owner would return our call, but they never did. After more follow-up, the business refused to take responsibility, blaming me, and only eventually offered a partial refund, less than half of what I paid. I had to call in to provide my card information and was never given an apology. For the price and the importance of the item, I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and accountability. read more

I have utilized Jones Cleaning Center on several occasions. They are very convenient for me, they are prompt (generally I've received next day service) and they do a great job. I also like supporting a local business. I would normally give this business 5 stars. However, today I cannot. They have failed on several levels. On Saturday, I dropped off a large quantity of clothes to be dry cleaned. I was greeted by a friendly clerk. She said my items would be ready after 4 on Monday. Great! I arrived at their business at about 4:40 on Monday. The clerk gathered my information, then returned to my car and said everything was ready except 2 shirts. I asked when would they be ready and she said after 4 tomorrow. I found this odd since I dropped off everything together. I questioned why and she said it must be a separate order. I told her no, that it was all brought together. She shrugged her shoulders. A few moments later a different woman came to my car and verified who I was. She went on to say that actually one of my shirts was damaged. I asked to see the shirt. She brought it out and it was in shreds. I asked her what happened? She said that I brought in a damaged shirt and that their machines must have made the damage worse. I told her the shirt was not damaged. Further, why would I bring in a damaged shirt to be cleaned? She basically wanted to argue and place the damage blame on me. She said I could file a claim with their company if I wanted to. I asked why wasn't the first clerk forthcoming and truthful about the damaged shirt? Rather, she led me to believe that 2 remaining shirts would be ready tomorrow. She did not have a answer. I was upset about what had happened I gathered the clothes that were ready and left. I returned about 30 minutes later to get the remaining shirt, even though it wasn't ready. Mysteriously, the remaining shirt was ready. I asked for the owner's name and contact information which I was refused. I asked for the manager. Turns out the second clerk was the manager. She handed me a claim form and kept trying to tell me that the shirt already was damaged. When I questioned her more, she said maybe the shirt had some chemicals on it that caused the damage? I'm instead of finding a resolution she was quick to place blame and excuses. So a $75 dress shirt is a worthless rag now. Had they accepted responsibility, were honest and looked for a resolution, I would be writing a positive post. Jones generally does a great job. They are certainly not the cheapest but their service offset their cost. I won't be back. I only expect honesty and pathway to a resolution. Not lies and blame. read more

I moved to Fresno recently and needed some down sleeping bags washed. In the past, I made the mistake of taking my sleeping bag to a cleaner who didn't know what they were doing and I didn't want to do that again, so I telephoned ahead of time to ask about the process. The person who took my call (Amber, I think) was so patient and thorough as she explained the process to me and answered all my questions, and her explanations and answers really showed her knowledge and experience washing down. She quoted me a price that I thought was fair. I felt confident enough to bring both of my sleeping bags in (instead of testing the waters with just one). When I dropped off my sleeping bags the next morning, they were friendly and efficient. They quoted me the same price and 1-week turnaround time that I had been given over the phone. I picked up the sleeping bags today and am very satisfied! My expectations were high, especially after the phone consultation, and they exceeded them. I dropped off a shirt there to be dry cleaned. I had heard stories about them over charging, but wanted to give them my patronage since they donated to a fundraiser that I am close to. I dropped my shirt off and asked the lady what the charge was, she went inside and said $6.90. I come back to pick up my shirt and the price is now $7.50. Same shirt, nothing changed on the material or care instructions. I brought it up to the lady giving me my shirt and she shrugged saying "oh, it was one of the other ladies that must have said that" Get a price before and see what they will charge you when you pick up. This was my first, and now last time to this place. If they get an extra .60 on the 1,000 of customers, that's a big chunk of change! Be honest Jones! read more

I have been a customer for my personal clothes and my business for 2 years. They charged me 6x the amount of other dry cleaners to clean our 1" mat covers that other cleaners charged. I wasn't quoted the $800 charge and when I questioned the discrepancies between this dry cleaner and another in town Courtney ,the manager stated "well that dry cleaner does a bad job and that's why they don't charge as much". Very unprofessional. When I asked to have the owner call ,Courtney said she would tell him. I got no call. I am going to Miller cleaning where they charge appropriately and work with the customer. My experience is specifially for alterations: I decided to take a blouse that needed to be altered to Jones Cleaning Services and was not a good experience. Blouse was with Jones Cleaning Services for 2.5 weeks and I had to call to see if it was ready (received no call for pick up). Went to go pick it up and realized there was still a hole in the blouse. I was told to leave it again and that it would be ready in a couple more days. I'm thinking "sure no problem". Following Monday comes and finally receive a call for pick up. Went to pick it up later that afternoon and was told that it wasn't ready (seriously?). Next day I call and was told it was ready and I go again to pick it up and was told it wasn't ready. I had to go three attempts for pick up and little did I know it was in the store the whole time. Their system tracking is horrible which causes me to drive over three times within three days. Worst part was the employees in the front were going to charge me still. Wouldn't recommend for alterations. In the end, I never want to wear this blouse again given the fact with my horrible alteration experience here. read more

After 20 years as a loyal customer of your 50 years in business, my 90 year old father was told to go find a new dry cleaners after his inquiry about an additional $3.20 charge for cleaning a shirt with what they claimed to have "vomit or urine" on it which was false. My Dad requested to talk to the owner, the father, and was told by the daughter to find a new cleaner. My dad asked the father to call him and to date, 2 weeks later, no one has called him. The business and especially the daughter needs to be reminded that customer service and customer loyalty is what built their business and pays their salaries. Complacency and lack of customer service can change your successful business overnight. This used to be where I would get my clothing dry cleaned. What I liked about them is the quick turn-around times for any of my dry cleaning needs. The staff was always good about getting me in and out the store with my clothes. Time is of the essence and this made me satisfied. And overall they did pretty good with stain removal, but not consistently. What I didn't like is lately when I'd pick up some of my clothes, I would notice stains that they should've got off but didn't. I complained a couple of times but they still made me pay! Not even a discount, wow, disappointing. I'm not trying to be cheap, it's just the principle of the matter. I ended up washing the dress shirt in my washer and the stains ended up coming off. Major turn-off. I might give them another chance in the future, until then I will consider other cleaners. read more
