Yes,…read morethere are books - but there are also newspapers, apparel, games and toys, cards, gifts, and plenty of unexpected finds. It's also surprisingly spacious, which makes it fun to browse without feeling crowded. We stop in at least two or three times during our annual week in Chautauqua, and it never gets old. If you're ever in Chautauqua, put this place on your list. It's just plain fun and truly has something for everyone.

The front of the store always has a few displays for certain themes (when I went it was a CHQ theme, Father's Day, and I think Pride Month?). There's a small book section with classics as well as possible modern reads. Plus, they have a section for kids books too. Stop by the bookstore if you're in Chautauqua!
