I didn't know that as a new client you will not be assigned a regular appointment or therapist. If you are lucky enough to get assigned don't be surprised if you still get different therapist every appointment. 2. The front desk ladies are either overwhelmed, not happy or properly trained to be friendly and/or provide direction. I really do like the therapists there, but as a place where they are supposed to help my child communicate, I don't feel the business cares enough wanting him to improve. It's hard to do when he gets assigned a different therapist almost every week. It just feels to me at the end of the day they are a business and they want as many clients through the door as possible. I wish it was easier to change providers. I am so sad I went with them.

I've seen the facilities everywhere, and I had a coworker go to a facility near her, but I wanted to check it out myself, and this place is perfect for my little guy! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. And they're consistently friendly and helpful, not just on your first day. When I drop off my son, I always am greeted with happy and cheerful staff. They are also very organized with their day. There is a large playground outside and they play outside at least twice a day. They provide full meals for breakfast and lunch which is included in the tuition. I also love that they provide a daily written check in of how your child did at the daycare. We've been at this facility for almost 3 months and my son loves it. Details: -There are 8 different locations around the area so you're bound to find one nearby -They have half day and full day programs. -They offer nap, half nap, or no naps. Its up to you -They will help potty train your toddler -There is no price difference for potty trained versus diaper toddlers -You have to go at least two days with rates ranging from 2 days at $160.00 for the week to 5 days at $280.00 a week -They have a secure code you have to enter to open their doors. They also have a fingerprint system to check your child in and out. -There are cameras! You can watch your little on your phone or desktop while they play or sleep, or at the playground!

We took our daughter there 3 times, because it was the "only show in town!" for residential care…read more She has a serious mental illness and needed that level care. The first time we took her was during Covid and she tested positive during her stay. However, instead of isolating her by herself in a room, they sent her home. The county person who was called out to consult about the situation, told us they should have kept her. I was a bit surprised, but understood why they would release her. They would want a client who could participate and they needed her room for that client. However, the 2nd time we took her there, it took us 2 weeks and several discussions to convince them to give her the prescribed meds she needed to remain stable! That seemed very odd and unprofessional! I'd even say negligent! The 3rd time we took her there, they asked us to participate in a Family Session with their "therapist." This very young woman obviously had no experience in leading a family session. She sat there mute, not asking any questions of any of the 3 of us. I kept hinting, what she could do to get a conversation going, but she didn't get it. I finally took over and started asking the questions of each of my own family, including myself and our daughter. Being a Family Therapist myself, it was a good thing I knew what I was doing. However, for most, if not all, of their clients, they would not know how to do that. Bottom line, they need to. hire professionals to work in their program, not inexperienced students. They also need to follow protocol on meds!

Based on that information, she traveled a very long distance to Fresno to receive urgently needed inpatient psychiatric care. Six days into treatment, while she was still an inpatient, we were abruptly informed that her stay was not covered by insurance after all. This disclosure was delivered without adequate preparation, emotional support, or coordinated clinical involvement -- despite the fact that she was being treated for significant anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and distress intolerance. The impact of this sudden news was severe. During this time, administrative staff did not return calls or respond to repeated inquiries. There was no meaningful guidance, transition planning, or support offered to help stabilize the situation. The result was that my daughter left the facility in crisis -- far from home, stranded in Fresno, without housing, and emotionally overwhelmed. As a parent, I had to urgently travel to Fresno myself to ensure her safety and arrange alternative care. The financial and emotional toll was significant. If you are considering sending a loved one here, please be cautious. Insurance verification and discharge communication are critical in psychiatric care settings. In our case, the lack of clear communication, administrative responsiveness, and crisis support caused additional trauma during an already vulnerable time. I would not want another family to experience what we did.

I must say that Orchard Post Acute with a loving, compassionate staff made her stay easier to tolerate. The CNA'S were more than happy to help with dressing and personal needs. They and the whole staff truly went above and beyond to make her stay pleasant. The PT department was so awesome! They truly had a motivating attitude towards all of the patients. You can see and feel that they really care about people. What was special and touched me deeply was her red carpet send off. The staff gathered around and played her favorite music as she left the facility. It's these things that make a facility special. I was tearful as I witnessed the care my mom received. I highly recommend Orchard Post Acute for your loved one.

They won't return phone calls regarding updates on your loved one or have care to call you if having issues with your loved one. I stated many times to call if there was an issue with our loved one and no one ever called the family to let us know. The facility is not well kept and is dirty. They allow the residents to yell, cuss, & blast rap music as loud and as long as they want. They stole multiple things from my loved one. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. It's really sad to see the elderly not being taken care of properly and rotting away in their beds. This was overall an awful experience , I don't think it gets any worse than this.
