My son missed a few sessions due to medical reasons, including being hospitalized and having contagious illnesses. We always provided doctor and hospital notes and were even told to keep him home so other children wouldn't get sick. There were also times when they canceled appointments because the therapist wasn't available. We received a warning letter saying he missed multiple sessions. I called and explained that all but one were medically excused. After speaking with an employee, I believed my son was being removed. Later I was told it was a misunderstanding, but that day was still marked as two no-shows, which I feel is unfair given the confusion. I also did not see much speech progress during the short time he attended. Sessions were only 30 minutes, and most of the time he was placed in the sensory room to play. We did not see the therapist really interact much with my son. Since starting ABA therapy, he has already learned words like "mom," "ball," "no," "wow," and "bubbles." I am currently waiting for the director to contact me to address these concerns. In the meantime, we are already looking into private therapy options to ensure my son receives the support he needs.

She is nothing short of exceptional and will always be considered a special part of our family. My son attended twice a week for about 2 years. In that time, many children passed through the care of Simpson Speech and I personally saw these children grow in their ability to communicate, leading to their new found confidence as they would enter and exit. The kids wanted to be there, they would get so excited to see their therapist! The entire staff from therapists to office personnel were always upbeat and positive, smiling, laughing and truly enjoying what they do. My son graduated a few months ago and still talks about how fun it was. I recommend Simpson Speech to everyone!

If you're a parent to a child with autism, who feels scared of letting them go into the world, but…read moreat the same time don't know how to handle things on your own anymore, I strongly recommend this place. My son barely started this year around his 4th birthday in May. He is nonverbal and would get frustrated when he couldn't communicate with us his wants and needs. He would have really bad tantrums and would try to hurt himself as well as us and other people around him. We were scared to send him off and let other people around him because you can never be too careful but here at Dream Big in Visalia they treat him and the rest of us like family. My son loves going everyday and he goes for the full day. He went from being nonverbal to being more vocal. He knows his numbers to 20, his ABC's, his colors, he waves hi and bye and is actually saying "bye". He points at things now with his finger and is able to say a few words in hopes that you can understand what he's asking for. He went from being uncomfortable around strangers to being comfortable and letting others help him as well as asking for help. He's more patient now and he allows other children to play around him and is now learning how to share because he has a really hard time sharing. He's learning to listen to instructions like throwing away trash and cleaning up after himself. Before my son wouldn't even sit down for circle time and now he sits there with the rest of the kids. He even sits down to have lunch or eat snacks and before it was difficult to even get him to sit down anywhere. At dream big I love that every child always has one tech with them at all times. Their therapies are in form of play so the children are always enjoying themselves. Everything they do is always positive reinforcement. Every day you get a summary about how their day was and they always want to know what else they can do to help have an easier time at home. What I also love is that you as a parent also get training to learn to understand your children and know how to help them and how to handle things appropriately. Let's not forget to mention how nice this place actually is and how safe it is as well. It's well equipped for children to play inside and outside as well with the yard being fenced really high and all doors locked to were only adults have access to open them. No one is getting in our out without them knowing. In there it's sensory heaven for our children. My son has a hard time leaving almost every single day, but who can blame him when the staff there is amazing and are always doing everything possible to make them happy and enjoy themselves there. Quetzali, Roni, Rachel, and April have treated us with great respect from day one as well as every single tech in there. I would mention them all by name if I knew all of their names. These people have definitely made me less scared about my baby's future. My son is thriving and doing things that we could have never imagined. Don't be scared and take that leap of faith and trust them! You will not regret your decision and your kids will thank you! I hope this review helps. I know I as well as my husband were scared to even imagine taking our eyes off of him for a second and now our little one is more independent and we couldn't be more proud of him and thankful that this place to exists.

There is only one thing that I can say that is positive and that is the BTs, truly care about the children, but don't get too attached to them because they have a turnover rate more than any other business that I have ever known. They don't treat their BTs with any respect or care about them other than making them money. The BTs are not happy, but they don't want to leave the kids until they are at a point where they just walk out during shifts. I have worked with different ABA companies and I have had my children in a few different ones also. I don't understand how they are still in service. If you have a choice of any other company, take your child to a different company where they are the most important part of the company and not the money. I have never written a bad review, but this needs to be known. It actually boggles my mind that the first review I wrote was gone somehow. Your children deserve the best care and this is not it. Also I highly feel staff is writing any good reviews. The difference between good and bad is not believable. Maybe they just need to be looked into if not for anything else but the safety of the children that run into the parking lot.
