It is a smaller thrift store than say, value village, but has some good finds. I found a banana republic dress shirt, barely worn, for $5. I'm all over that (so not a clothes snob). They also have some great vintage type stuff like lamps and kitchen things. I really liked that they had some of the "bigger ticket" items up for auction. It's a silent auction so you write your name and price and hope for the best. I won a great painting from there that hangs prominently in my home. The items tend to come from those who are more "well off" since it is located in Bolton (which is in Caledon), so seeing a Louis Vuitton purse up for auction isn't out of the norm. So put your thrift store bias aside and visit chez thrift. You'll support those in Bolton who need it as get some great deals for yourself!

The customer service representative at the desk was courteous and made a genuine effort to help. However, when the acting store manager became involved, the interaction quickly turned unprofessional, and within minutes I was told I was "being difficult." At that point, I ended the discussion, took my product, and left. Based on this experience, I do not plan to return to the Bolton location. For context, I have been a long-time supporter of Canadian Tire and have often recommended it to others as a Canadian company. Canadian Tire has been a favourite store of mine since childhood--I even kept Canadian Tire money as a memento and later shared it with my children. When travelling for work or personal reasons, I regularly make a point of stopping in at local stores, and I have shopped at locations across Ontario and beyond, from Windsor to Ottawa to Timmins and Kenora. To the new owner of the Bolton store: I understand you recently purchased this location and are based in Western Canada. I hope you will review the customer service culture at the store and ensure issues like this are addressed. My family and I have historically spent thousands of dollars per year at this store, but after this incident we will be taking our business elsewhere--even if it means driving an additional 25 km to another location. This will likely reduce how often we shop at Canadian Tire overall. After leaving the store that day, I purchased the supplies I needed at other Bolton retailers, spending hundreds of dollars, and I have since found another store willing to assist with my product issue. Around 4:50pm the sales associates were already rushing people out the door saying they close at 5pm. All the associates were in a huge rush to leave since it was Mother's Day. My mother was trying something on and putting her own clothes back on to leave. An associate came into the fitting room area and announced it was 4:57pm and they were closed. Her tone was abrupt and rude. I never been to a clothing store that rushes people out the door since several brick and mortar stores are shutting down due to online shopping. We just needed no more than 5 minutes to wrap up to pay and leave. We ended up not buying anything and waiting for a associate to let us out because the front door was locked. For the record, I was spending time with my mom too. I knew what time it was and was not trying to take too long. Awful customer service!

I understand that this is a Walmart; biggest chain in the world who pays their employees horrible…read morewages and has a majority of customers who don't have the best mannerisms... but this location was alright. The aisles were clean of debris and any sort of garbage. There were plenty of shopping carts available when going through the entrance. The produce section was fully stocked and fruits/vegetables weren't rotting or bruised. The selection of brands will isn't premium or health conscious though. Organic meats are lacking and snacks are for the most part unhealthy and full of salt & sugar. I have 3 other Walmarts in my immediate area and compare to those this one is by far the most organized; most probably due to the population of surrounding Bolton. However, if I'm ever in the area and need a household product I'll be sure to stop in.

Bought a Playstation gift card from here for my son, turns out it was already used. Brought it back…read moreto Walmart they refuse to replace it or give us back our money. We spent 2 hours in the store trying to speak to someone about it a manager came down guess what no help. Told us as per their policy I need to take it up with playstaion, which I did playstaion let me know walmart shiuld be replacing it because it was from them. I have the email from playstaion to prove that. This whole thing last 3 weeks and just yesterday (August 21 2026) walmart told me they won't be replacing anything. Basically telling me its not their problem. It is in fact your problem because YOUR business sold me a USED gift card. I'm reporting it to the BBB just because you're walmart does not mean you get to scam your customers.
