The quote which they said would take 48 hours took a week. When I called to ask what was happening my sales rep said it was almost done and he would call back in 30 minutes. After waiting three hours I called again. It was still not done. After I finally received the quote I took it to my insurance company. They signed off on the work and told me Carstar would contact me to set up an appointment. I waited a couple of days and heard nothing so I called Carstar again. They said they had not gotten the sign off from the insurance company. I called my adjuster and he said everything was done on his side. Eventually I got a call from Carstar saying I could bring in the vehicle Monday morning. They said it would be ready on Friday. The following Monday I called to see what was up as I had not heard anything. They said it would be ready the next day. It was not. I ended up getting on Wednesday but only after I called the national Carstar offices. When I picked it up the sales representative made excuses and did not acknowledge let alone apologize for the poor service. I fully understand that sometimes parts take longer then expected. However the sales associate would not give me an accurate estimation of the time it would take and did not return my calls. My impression was that it was nothing to do with parts but rather an unorganized and lazy sales rep. My experience reflected very poor customer service. There are lots of places that do body work in Kingston. Take your car somewhere else.

He had to sign a waiver /disclaimer that during the repair of the chip they may crack the glass. So they cracked the windshield. I get it crap happens but the kicker is they didn't tell my husband! He got into the car to drive away and found a crack 2 feet long in the windshield! Back into the shop he went and the response he got was "I was busy and didn't read the report ". Then in the next breath asking did he want them to book the car for a replacement of the windshield . No offer for partial compensation they were still billing the insurance company for the attempted repair . Never, ever again would I use this establishment very poor for customer service. Consumer beware . Also an FYI insurance comprehensive on most policy's is $500 so this will have to be paid by us.

I got more equipment and had it redone, but they didnt install tweaters in rear door panels, found.adapter and went back and had them put in, the next day I noticed the rips in my door panels, its a Lexus that I clean often so would notice this.. my dog doesnt scratch the interior, dog is old and slow, no other scratches. I didnt harass anyone or was rude to customers. I was nice, even bought the installer lunch.
