This is my iconic 500th review, and per usual, I like to save these century reviews for businesses that seriously wow me. Not just any old five-star reviews... like the cream of the crop five-star review. By (bad) luck, I had to replace my windshield because someone broke into my car... but that's where the bad ended and good begin. I see why Autoglass Solutions have 50 five-star reviews. From the moment Paula picked up the phone, I just got the greatest sense of assurance. She quoted me a price and gave me the details of what they would do, and told me they would be able to send their mobile service to me the same day! Since they were the first people I called, I wanted to check around, and they were definitely one of the least expensive replacement. When I called back, I asked whether they would price match the lowest price (Professional Glass, which is also very reputable and highly recommended). Since it was only a $15 difference, Autoglass Solutions honored the competitor price. I know it's only $15, but it made me an insanely happy customer. I'm psyched that I don't have to drive anywhere with the broken window. Not to mention that, in the 20 minutes between my first and second call, they had already loaded my glass onto the truck and was ready to go, waiting for my call back. Serious efficiency. It does make me glad that I didn't just go with the lowest price (not to say that would have been bad... I'm sure either way it would have been great). I don't write a ton of reviews on here-but i have to reciprocate in this scenario, since I chose Autoglass Solutions via all the good reviews on Yelp. Everything from the intake phone call with Paula through the actual windshield replacement service by Dan was smooth, friendly, and stress free. I had my windshield chipped from a rock on 405. Called Autoglass Solutions, talked to Paula, and explained chip/location on the windshield She asked for a couple pictures. Shortly after I sent the pictures and gave her some details about my auto insurance policy - she said we could either repair the windshield or replace the windshield. Based on my policy, i elected for the full replacement. This was on a Friday. Monday morning, Dan showed up to my office, parked next to the car, and replaced the windshield in about an hour/90 minutes. They worked with State Farm behind the scenes. So far, so good! Leaving my first yelp review for a great business. I unfortunately had my vehicle broken into in my apartments' garage and submitted a form online. Paula was amazing. She replied to my online request the same evening and was able to get me scheduled 2 days later. However, the morning I was scheduled I was unable to keep the morning appointment due to someone parking extremely close to my vehicle, leaving me unable to enter my vehicle to move it. I called Paula ASAP to let her know the situation and she was able to have me scheduled later that afternoon. Dan was my window tech and finished in a timely manner - less than one hour. This company is truly outstanding. I have been wanting to write this review for awhile. My partner and I had the driver side window come off the track for the auto up/down while viewing a condo in N. Seattle. This is terrible as we park at home in a not super secure parking garage. Being first time home buyer money is also super tight so a window repair though needed was an unhappy thing to happen. Autoglass Solutions spoke with us on the phone and gave us a rough quote on the repair which was around $200 for parts and labor to replace a piece inside the door. When we came to check it out he found the screw had simply fallen out taking the window off the track. He did not continue to replace parts, but put the screw back in, glued it tight (with our permission after explaining the p[potential negative of the gluing), and put our door back together. It cost $60s. The gentleman who helped us explained the defect in the window was a manufacturer problem and showed my partner how he could fix the screw himself if it came out in the future saving us a extra bill. Also Autoglass Solutions comes to you! They fixed this right near our house without having to drive out of our way. Both my partner and I were impressed and will call again if we have window troubles. read more

I welcomed 2018 with a shattered window and alot confusion about what to do having never experienced this before. My insurance company had recommended a preferred vendor and set an appointment but I had my doubts about the company after reading customer reviews and decided to do a little research of my own. Autoglass Solutions had such glowing reviews I decided to cancel my original appointment and work with them. My correspondence started via email to which I received a response from Paula within a few minutes. In under an hour I received confirmation that the glass needed for the repair was in stock, a quote, the name of the person who would perform the repair (Dan), the agreed upon location for the repair and the meet time. I appreciate that Paula asked me some clarifying questions to ensure Dan and I met at the location at roughly the same time. Paula was easy to speak with, professional and friendly. Dan called me to update me on his expected time of arrival and we arrived at the location virtually the same time. Dan was amazing, professional, personable and knew his stuff. He did a great job explaining what to expect and when the repair was complete walked me through the work he did to ensure I was satisfied. I don't drive often, so my car sits for long periods of time on my street. Someone damaged my rear windshield, but I did not realize it until I went to drive the car. Huge hole, glass everywhere! I was in town for a conference and parked my car at the Meridian East Ace parking structure on Pike. On the morning I was to go home, I went to my car and found that someone had lovingly smashed in my window to steal my roadside emergency kit. Skipping my last day of the conference and hoping to leave by Noon, I called Auto Glass Solutions at 8am and was told they have one window in stock and can fit me in between 10-12pm for an on-site replacement in downtown Seattle. Yay! Dan showed up around 11:15am and finished around 12:15pm so I was able to leave on time. Dan was professional, fast (kept within the quoted time), fun to chat with, cleaned up the car very well, and he even made the process bearable and, yes, even enjoyable. Thank you Dan! The reason I stated they had one window in stock is because Dan picked up a spare, just in case. The spare was mislabeled (by the manufacturer) and wasn't the correct window for my car. Dan, thankfully, had the original one in his van and, doubly thankful, it was the correct window. I chose Auto Glass Solutions because of their MANY high ratings. I was not disappointed in any way. AGS has won my business for life! First off, if you are in the Greater Seattle Area, Autoglass Solution will send a repair person TO YOU. This was SO EASY having a full-time job. Next, when you call, you are most likely going to talk to Paula and she is a pleasure to work with - she will even work to get you a next day appointment, if she can. I also discovered talking to her that my windshield crack was most likely going to result in a full replacement. Amazing service! I called them because I got a crack in my windshield right after a small knick. I called and got a quick call back and then quick emails back and forth explaining everything! I wasn't sure whether to make a claim through insurance and they were able to give me a quote after I gave them my VIN. It included everything - not like those national brands that give you a quote online but have an asterisk that says they don't include "other expenses." (One national service quoted me half as much which I confirmed later would end up being double or more....they seem to just want you to make an appointment so you are already committed to use them.) Another positive---Auto Glass Solutions came to me - so I didn't need to arrange a ride or sit there for however many hours. AND- they even came to me at my parents' house in Sumner while I was visiting. Super convenient! Also, Dan, who replaced my windshield was super friendly, efficient and professional. Dan was awesome! Came at about 10:30 the window was 10-12! Took him about an hour and he was thorough in explaining how to allow the window to set properly. They came right to my job! I'm praying this windshield doesn't become a casualty of fallen rocks or debris from the construction that's everywhere and never ending! Excellent service in that I called to arrange for repair and the person who answered not only was knowledgeable but said that because I had "lane departure technology" and with my year and model specifically that I should go to a full service shop who could do the replacement and the calibration (they do do calibrations but my situation was unique). My nearly-new car got a chip in its windshield! Sad day. These unanimous five-star reviews of Auto Glass Solutions almost had me a bit suspicious, but I gave them a call with faith in my fellow Yelpers. I wasn't disappointed. The woman on the phone was able to get me scheduled very quickly, and explained that I would need to keep the point of impact dry in order to ensure a successful repair. The technician who arrived on-site to complete the job was friendly and clearly knew his stuff, getting the repair done in a matter of minutes. He warned me in advance that the damage wouldn't disappear completely, but it does look significantly better after the repair. The cost of repairing one chip was $65+tax. I hadn't done my homework in advance, but he advised me that my insurance company would likely waive the deductible for this work, and patiently waited while I called Esurance to file a claim. It turned out that he was correct, and I didn't have to pay a penny. I clearly have nothing to complain about, so here's another five-star review. Hooray! read more

Hard to believe that a business could be perfect, but Autoglass Solutions is pretty dang close! There are reasons that it has only 5 stars on yelp. It's THE place to do business with to get your windshield repaired or replaced. 1. Amazing customer service. Dan is as friendly as can be and makes you feel like an old friend, not someone out to swindle you. 2. Mobile service. No need to drop the car off or wait around at the shop while they work on your car. They come right to you! I worked from home today and he showed up on my doorstop with his car parked right behind mine, ready to work. 3. No additional fees for mobile service. 4. Great rates. $50 for the first chip, and $10 for any extra chips after that. 5. My auto insurance covered the cost and the transaction was non-existent. Awesome. read more

This was a remarkable retail experience. I scheduled an appointment, which was simple. I neglected to note the day & time, so I had to call back, and I was treated very kindly. I had one more oddity that was handled with no stress, and the replacement itself was uneventful - good communication with the installer, everything handled without incident. However, when I actually drove my car later that day I was immediately aware that the mic for my hands-free phone wasn't working. After a call to the installer, I fished out the wire and verified that it had been cut in the process (we learned later by a clip attached to a piece of interior molding, _not_ the actual windshield installation). The installer was very accommodating, communicated promptly and completely, and showed up in a reasonable time to correct the problem. After the work was done, he asked me to test & validate that everything was okay - and it was. The best part didn't happen until the next day, when I saw the charge on my card. So they waited until everything was resolved to my satisfaction before taking my money - two days after the chargeable work was done. I was originally going to give a 4-star rating, but that gesture alone told me that they were more concerned with my satisfaction than my money. I am so impressed by that point that it was easy to overlook the human error. Definitely recommend these folks and will keep their number the next time I need anything auto glass related. read more

I parked my car on the street and someone evidently took a dislike to my front passenger window. Autoglass Solutions was able to send someone out the next business day after I called. The guys were really prompt; in face, they arrived earlier than estimated. They did a good job, but were quick. They also showed me what they did and made sure i was happy with everything before they left. I only called one other place and didn't get a quote, so I dunno how it compared price-wise. As others have said, Dan was great. My car was broken into last weekend and the glass that was broken has bit of a mirror finish on it, straight from Nissan. He came out with a couple of options at first, but neither matched. I told him I wanted it to match (it would be incredibly obvious if it didn't), so he looked into it and called me back a few hours later. He tried to find it new from the Nissan dealer, but Nissan only had a close-ish match and it would take a long time to get and cost a lot. He found an exact match from a salvage place he deals with. I agreed to go with that one. I never told him, but I had also called the same Nissan dealer directly (Stadium Nissan, who I've dealt directly with myself in the past) and they entirely corroborated his statements about costs and availability, which made me trust him more. He did the install quickly. He didn't mind pausing for me to shoot some grease into all the moving parts inside the door while he had the door panel off, and snap a few photos in case I need to get back in there myself at some point. Even with all the running around he had to do, he charged me exactly what was quoted on the phone the day prior. Entirely reasonable, on time, no bull shit, good work... how often does that happen when you're desperate for a car fix? read more

These guys have the best customer service I've ever had. Paula did a great job scheduling a time for the team to fix my cracked windshield. I accidentally left the car locked during their visit but they were gracious enough to swing by a few days later to perform the replacement (after I actually confirmed that the car was unlocked by leaving them a voicemail while unlocking the car). When they got to the car, Luke texted their repair status and got it fixed in just a few hours while I was at work. I came home to a perfectly new OEM windshield later that evening and they had a card with some instructions to allow the windshield to set in. Factoring in the service, workmanship, and the effort that I needed to get my windshield repair, it's a pretty darn good deal ($300 after tax, Camry). Dan was awesome! They came right on time and my windshield installation only took an hour! OEM glass and awesome service...can't beat that! They were a bit more expensive another company, but that company wasn't using OEM glass and when I looked them up on Yelp, their reviews weren't the best... I'm very glad I went with Autoglass solutions :) They give you easy instructions to follow after installation (ie when to take the tape off, etc) and they have a warranty on their work. I needed to use their service twice in the last 6 months. Once for a cracked windshield (because of a small stone or something that hit the windshield when I was driving on the interstate) and once for a smashed passenger window (bad people trying to break into the car which was completely empty...grml). Set up an appointment: I set up appointments on the phone with Paula and scheduling it was really easy. They could get the glass easily, so I had everything fixed within less than 48hrs in both cases. Paula does an amazing job. She is super friendly, competent and also handled the claims with the insurance. You give her your data and she looks up the price through some kind of tool and you immediately know how much you'll have to pay out of your own pocket. In both cases, it took me less than 5min to have everything arranged. No bullshit, no waiting for robots that forward you forever. It just works. Have new glass installed: Both times, Dan came to our garage and installed the new glass. He's a super friendly guy, very knowledgeable and careful. At one point, he offered to help me with some other small issue with the car, for free - I got it figured out on my own - just because he "was in the neighbourhood the following day anyways". He's very careful when he installs the new glass, no dirty spots on the new leather seats, nothing. Bottom line: You need your glass replaced? Call Paula, get an appointment in 5min, have Dan show up within 1-3 days, be happy again. read more
