Hunting camp always creates stories and this year was my turn. Stan, Craig and others took my car in Wednesday morning before thanksgiving to dry her out and narrow down my problem. I'm from the Milwaukee area and under the stress of no car. But Stan was amazing assuring me that I would be able to get her home. Which I got last Saturday. I'm grateful that they were open during hunting season and what an excellent experience working with such great customer service! The fees seemed fair and I would most definitely recommend Auto Select Shawano for taking good care of their customers New, like me or any other customer. We had electric issues. I called two places and left voicemails. Never heard back. I got through to Jesse and he talked to my son about how to fix it by putting in alternator. Fixed half of issue. Took it in without an appointment and they had it fixed with a few hours. Turned out that everyone we talked to rave about them. I have their card in our frig now!! We had taken our vehicle to them for a complete vehicle inspection before we bought it. They said a couple of things needed replacing and belts we worn, a tune up was needed. No big deal. We bought it just over 2 months ago and we have only put on 1,267 miles on it. But come to find out, it needs +$1,400 of repairs. We had gone to them in order to see if this would be a car worth buying. Less than satisfactory. We would not recommend them for a complete vehicle inspection. read more

Craig and his team are top-notch. From the get-go, Craig made sure all of my questions were answered. While there for an oil change and tire rotation they called out a couple of minor issues with my vehicle that needed to be addressed and they took care of it. At the end of the day, there aren't many options for good mechanics in Shawano I am sure glad Craig and the AutoSelect team are making it happen and raising the bar. read more

Friendly and very helpful. They explain things so I can understand and don't make up unnecessary issues to make money. Very honest! I brought my car in for new tires because another place told me I needed new tires and the gentleman at the counter at Auto Select in Shawano, WI let me know I still had about half the life of the tires and didn't need new ones.
