There is a front ball joint that is acting up. Spoke to the mechanic and he said it can wait and he would be confident to let his own daughter drive her car without the repair. Being a couple of hundred miles away, he could have easily told me it needed the repair and I would not have known any different. VA when I suddenly remembered that on my way home from Manchester NH the night before, I had suddenly lost my low-beams (actually, one had failed a couple of nights prior). So I pulled into the Honda place in WRJ, unannounced. Darci in the service dept could not have been more helpful and sympathetic. While I relaxed in the lounge, Steve walked by -- he's the dealership manager, but he remembered selling me my car back when he was on the sales floor at the old location, as well as my son buying a used car last year. My car was ready in about an hour (washed, too). As dealership services do these days, they had checked it over and suggested a couple of things that would need attention soon; however, Darci wad not pushy about this when I said I would see my regular, local mechanic about those. She gave me a printout to share with my mechanic. This experience wasn't cheap, but it was worth more than every penny.
