You always need to tell them to re-wipe certain places inside the car after they finish it. I still decided to go since I was too busy with lots of things. As usual, after I inspected the car, many places needed to recleaned. The trunk was not vacuumed at all, and the inside of the door of trunk was very dirty. They also do not move the seats and vacuum. They said that they never did. That was not the worst part. One of the kids was very rude and had an attitude. He said that they were not expected to clean the trunk unless they were asked to. He acted like he only wanted to do the minimum, but even the minimum was not done right---the dashboard, right in front of your eyes, was found dirty when I was about to leave. He and his partner had spent more time talking than focusing on the job. When he talked to me, he had this sense of superiority, which I did not know came from where. He was also sneering when I checked with the manager if they do not vacuum underneath the seats. I do not even know why I still tipped them. It was less about if the job was done 100 percent right but more about the attitude and respect. read more

Extremely understaffed so my car sat out in the hot sun for half an hour, water stains occurred over entire car of course. I talked to manager about just rerunning thru to eliminate them but he refused. Car now has water spots all over it - not what I wanted from a car wash. The guys would have had to hand wash the whole car to get rid of them. Manager should have just let the car run through again and that would have solved the issue vs. having a very unhappy customer. Fast & friendly! Chris did a GREAT job quickly cleaning my disgusting car in the 78 degree sun on an extremely humid NC day! I missed trash when I was emptying my car out but he kindly did it for me! Poor first time experience. I bought the double polyprocess option. They vacuumed the floorboards but not the seats or the back of the car. I noticed that they wiped down the dashboard but not around the cup holders or compartments. The exterior clean was pretty good except for the front where there were still bug stains. I came home to only finish vacuuming and wiping everything down. If I would have inspected before I left, I would have asked them to correct these issues. read more

AutoBell 3420 S Church St Burlington NC Bad experience. First check-in guy had no personality or appreciation for the customer. My Navigator was not vacuumed in rear compartment. Wipe down guy was less than thorough. Had to request additional tire shine...first application was hit/miss. He didn't Even say I'm sorry...will take care of it. Oh he cleaned windows...right. The driver side was so streaked...passenger side missed totally. Windows in worse condition than prior to wash. Lower section of vehicle still had road grime that was not wiped off. Brought a work truck in today to have cleaned and detailed. Paid for the interior cleaning that was recommended. Customer service was great friendly and efficient. When they told me the truck was ready I gave it a simple inspection. The drivers door pocket still had debris in it ? I ask if they had vacuumed? Looked at the passenger side same thing. The guy offered to back up the truck and re vacuum the areas in question. After a few minutes the guy motioned that he was done. He told me also wiped out the floor matts. Upon inspection three of the four door were vacuumed, I guess he missed one of the four doors, cleaned the drivers side floor only. I give up the kid didn't get it took my truck and drove off. He deserved nothing but I still tipped him. Once in the road I noticed the center console was as dirt as it once when I arrived the passengers side still had sun flower seeds on it and all of the trash under the seats was not touched. Disappointing. Used to feeling good about the look of my car when I made a trip to Autobell in the Charlotte area. I noticed the mark on my bumper wasn't clean and could be removed with a good rub. But, felt awkward about it when I pointed it out. Driving home noticed I was still looking through a speckles windshield. Looked in the back seat at the food crumbs from the kids were still in the creases is the leather seats. I did what I really didn't want to do. Pulled the vacuum out and vacuumed my own seats, back and front. Wasn't hard. Looks much better. But, isn't that what I paid for? Got the Windex out and redid the windshield. And, a rag to wipe down the back number. No fragrance in the car. Should have known with the speed I was in and out of there it would be a crappy job. Really a waste of $28 and a $5 tip. Will be looking elsewhere for car washes in Burlington. read more

When you pay for the highest priced car wash and then add a Manager's special one would expect "top of the line" service and a clean car when you are finished. Unfortunately today, such is not the case at this business. The rear portion of the car was not vacuumed until I requested that it done. The front seat area had to be redone since may papers and lint were still visible when they said the care "was ready." They had failed the simple task of wiping off the dashboard and center console. I borrowed a towel and accomplished this feat in about 30 seconds. There was still trash between the driver's seat and the console but since they had done such a poor job, even the second time around, we left the business. I would also note that the front windshield had streaks left when they finished. When you are looking for a place to have your car taken care of, I suggest you by-pass this car wash and look elsewhere. read more

Husband went to have car washed. Outside great but inside was highly lacking. When he told them there were streaks left on the windows they acted like it was an inconvenience for them to do their job and fix it. Won't be back. Will pay my 29.00 somewhere else. Came here with the coupon form the car dealer. Not as clean as i though, machine wash and hand dry. It was my first and last.

While this Autobell car wash will certainly get the dirt and grime off your car, they're very slack when it comes to cleaning your car's interior. I've tried them twice. On both visits, they poorly vacuumed my car's interior. I gave them their second (and last) chance today... and they failed again. I lifted the floormats and found that they did not vacuum under them - only above and around. I could also tell that they didn't vacuum under my seats or the seats themselves. My hatch area, which sometimes transports my dog, was also not touched and still had hair and dirt present. Anyone with a basic knowledge of how a vacuum works would have gotten it clean without a problem -- they simply didn't even try. As to the hard interior surfaces, they only cleaned my dash and totally bypassed the console area and doors (even though it says they clean that as well on their options menu). My wheels were also poorly cleaned -- I even had to ask the attendant to wipe them again because they were still obviously covered in brake dust. All in all, I have overpaid (twice) for a pathetic car wash. I won't be back. read more
