This has to be the worst car wash experience I've ever had. I came in to get an exterior wash and wipe down. There were water spots all over even after the wipe down, and now I have a bunch of scratches across my car in various spots. These scratches weren't there before. The response I got was poor at best. They wanted me to run my car back through to see if it caused MORE DAMAGE to prove they did it. It was explained that, if it didn't do it again, they would only then check the cameras and machines for anything that could have caused it. Because I'm not willing to risk further damage, I'm going to have to pay for the damage to my car. AVOID AUTOBELL. Your better off washing your car yourself. This trouble is not worth what I paid to have my car washed. read more

This place sucks. I did a BOGO of one of their premium washes. The first time it was like two guys working one was trying to close while the other was doing the final dry and detail on the car. It was getting dark after waiting for an hour and he completely missed the wheels. My windshield was trash. The next wash they didn't even touch my floor mats or my windshield. They worked on the wheels, but still a total crap job. This used to be a great car wash before auto bell bought it. Don't waste your money on this overpriced dump. There is no value. I can't say enough good things about these guys in a short paragraph. Nick the manager, goes above and beyond to service his customers & his team is also great! I lost both my wipers during the wash. It was my fault, new car, and I couldn't figure out how to turn off the auto wipers. They retrieved them, put them back on for me and even offered to wash my car again for free!!! I payed for the super polyprocess $30, $32 to be exact with tax. Before going through the car wash I asked the man what came with it and if it included a vacuuming of the inside and the trunk of the car, he said yes. We go through the service and I get to my car and could immediately see they did not vacuum and thing and I asked why and the boy said that it wasn't included I proceeded to look up what came with the service and it is included they just ripped me off and did not care at all the car was not clean. My vehicle still has water, the towel dry service is a joke. Windows are smudged. My rims were not wiped dry before or after using tire shine. The passenger areas along with the liftgate area was not vacuumed. I have been to this location a few times and this will be my last. read more

They did not lift the rear hatch to clean the inside of the window. Dry cloth left the inside of windows streaky. The outside was gritty. They did not wipe the door jams. The car wash itself was awful. When I received my car, it looked awful and it wasn't that dirty to begin with. It looked as if the guys didn't even vacuum or attempt to clean the inside or put the armor all on the leather even though I paid for that package. Paid for the rain repellant package that included cleaning in the interior. They didn't vacuum or do anything inside except wipe the dashboard (i have kids so i can see the fingerprints on inside windows and cheerios all in the floorboard and didn't even give me the "fragrance" but I didn't realize until we drove off. To begin, the gentleman who rang us up walked away when I was handing the money over to him, then proceeded to give me a dirty look when I gave him exact change (I'm trying to help you out, kid!!). This Autobell is a poor replacement for Wheels n Bumpers. I've been 3 times, because I had a preexisting gift card. The guy that vacuumed my car today did a poor job then left one of the doors ajar as it went into the car wash. When I brought it to his attention he addressed the issue with a grunt then went back to another customer without an apology. The reason I didn't give the business one star is that the manager gave me the car wash for free after I brought it to his attention. Hopefully, the staff will learn their jobs after more practice. I believe I'll go to the other location for the next few months until they get their act together. read more

BUYER OF "INTERNET" OFFERS BEWARE! Despite a communication with an Autobell marketing person, who assured me that an on-line purchase would not result in a $6.00 shipping charge, I placed an order. Unfortunately, I discovered... after placing an on-line order for three car washes (without waxing)... that it is customary for Autobell to charge a shipping fee of $6.00 for an on-line purchase UNLESS a customer happens to purchase the CURRENT on-line SPECIAL, in which case, one would receive COUPON sent via e-mail, naturally, AT NO CHARGE I did engage with Autobell personnel only because I was outraged about what appeared to me to be an unscrupulous business practice to PAD Autobell's bottom line. I informed "the powers that be" that I couldn't care any less about the $6.00. Rather, I was concerned that OTHERS would likely be mislead in the future. I was told that there would be a MEETING relating to this issue. I was not contacted about the result of that meeting. Consequently, made an additional e-mail inquiry. Awful! 4 attendants, no other vehicles and for $30.00 basically only ran through the water. Windows not cleaned well, nothing wiped down on the inside, no air freshener and back not vacumed. Maybe they thought the Florida plates would not care but we actually live here now. Never Again!!!!! read more

Very disappointed. Big difference since Wheels 'n Bumpers left this location. Prices higher, value lower. Hope they get their game plan fixed. Driving by you can tell the negative impact they are leaving on the public. Looks like hardly any business at all at this location. It's a shame, as this spot has always been a winner for the car wash business. My neighbor also was disappointed. Need to get their act together, lots to gain, but need big improvements. **** AUTOBELL CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!! **** On April 29, 2019, we took our NEW Honda CRV to the Autobell Car Wash in Burlington, NC for its FIRST wash. This is the Autobell at 3420 South Church Street - formerly Wheels and Bumpers. (We miss them so much.) We purchased their current two wash "special" for $43 for a total of $45.90 with tax. We always took our vehicles to the previous owner of Wheels and Bumpers at this location (much cheaper for same wash), and never had any issues. We were on our way to the Honda Dealership at the time for an alignment appointment and stopped in for a wash since we were running early. When we left, we saw what we thought was a smear on the plastic shield that protects the instrument panel in front of the steering wheel. When we got to the dealership, Joe tried to clean it with a lens wipe. That was when we found out it was a quite long SCRATCH. After we left the dealership an hour and half later, we went back to the Autobell to see what could be done about this scratch on our NEW vehicle. The attendant called the 22 year old manager (Nick) several times, basically called us liars, said there was no way it was scratched there, refused to even refund the cost of the wash, much less the full cost of the $45.90. Why would we want to go back when they refused to even acknowledge the issue? Did they think we wanted them to scratch another vehicle??? We posted this event to the Autobell website that evening. The next day we received a call from Nick who wanted to meet in person to see the scratch. Joe set up a time on Friday to meet with him. Joe filled out the damage claim, and below is what this manager (who was not present during the incident) wrote on our claim in the "Manager's Report of the Incident": "Customer claims we scratched the gage cluster. We investigated the one scratch and Autobell cannot accept fault. We only use clean rags on the interior and microfiber towels would not cause that damage." He even asked Joe if he saw the attendant make the scratch. Did he see the attendant drop the rag? Seriously? We were inside waiting! He didn't even offer to try to buff out the scratch, or help us in any way. This was a total waste of time to go back there for Nick to just say he was doing NOTHING. Net result - customers should not expect this company to admit when they cause damage to your vehicle. They won't refund your money. They will call you a liar to your face. If you go there, you would be wise to inspect your vehicle with the attendant before they ever touch it, and re-inspect when finished. read more

So I am a former customer of wheels and bumpers and I decided to give autobell on church street a shot.... even though they dont detail like wheels and bumpers, I was highly impressed with the speed, quality and persistence!! Horrible job!! I don't even want to give it one star! My car was not even extremely dirty it was a case of getting pollen off outside and front floor boards needing a vacuum. I went to Autobell for the second time today since Wheels and Bumpers left. For the second time I was very disappointed. No wonder there was only 3 cars in lot. Streaks left on windows and my rear of the car not vacuumed. I had to clean my windows when I came home! These kids are rushing like crazy and there were no cars! What a disgrace to the former Wheels & Bumpers. Inquired about services and never got the same answer twice from 5 different people. I tried to call and got the "corporate" boiler plate response. I asked if there was someone at the store such as a manager, I was told that I could not speak to anyone at the store unless I went there. It's a carwash, not Fort Knox!
