This was the worst car wash I've ever gotten in my life. I paid about $35 for an exterior and interior cleaning and they like basically didn't even vacuum the seats or anything I had to point out a bunch of things. Car wash good, but I have the service, I waited over 10 min for my car to be dried, the two guys were working on one car and I finally dried my own car. Same experience as many others. Paid for the 39.99 special. After the cleaning there were smudges and bugs on the front and windshield. Scratches all along the side which are deep that were not there before which I will have to get fixed. Part of the bumper popped loose. Very disappointed. I could have gotten a better result on an exterior wash from a gas station car wash. I do not reccomend getting your car washed here. The car does smell like lemon though, and the vacuuming was well done so I will give them that. (Side note. This is a brand new car) As expected Autodell denied the claim immediately, after trying to recreate the scenario. For anyone expected a claim to be accepted, you will need to hire an attorney like I have. They will ask you to take photos of your vehicle along with signage of liability at the Autobell (which they don't have). I have already had the bumper fixed. It's sad that what could be a small cheap fix has to go this route. All I wanted was scratches fixed and an apology. Things happen, however now I'll let the Attorneys deal with it. read more

Drove my car out of state, and in the rain prompting me to seek car washing services, but the $17 I paid for the automatic wash didn't get my back window clean and their blow dryers are useless. Had to go home afterwards to clean the dirt from my windows and dry the spots off. Certainly not worth the money. read more

My truck was looking bad and needed washing. I pulled into this car wash because the one on Rt 60 bypass stated they didn't do interiors. This one did. They did a wonderful job and now my truck looks great and I can see out of my windshield fine. I didn't get the name of the touch up person, but he did a great job. This is the best car wash in town (I've used them all). The staff is friendly, effective and refreshingly courteous. I enrolled both of our cars on the unlimited program, and I find it to be of great value. In the past, it bothered me that their app could only be loaded one one family phone. However, I recently discovered that the "Shared Garage" option permits a second family member to be authorized. So worth it! read more

Honestly, I find these negative reviews surprising and likely representations of isolated negative experiences that people took a bit too seriously. This is a fantastic carwash, and for the year I went there with the subscription package I had nothing but positive experiences. They always left the car looking great, and usually the workers went the extra mile in making sure that the car was good to go when they wiped it down. Yes, at times they can be understaffed when there is a large line of cars, but this is usually during a peak hour and is to be expected at any business. Things can get busy and there can be a less than ideal amount of people - nothing worth complaining about. 95% of the time there were maybe two cars there and was out in 5-10 minutes. Additionally - not only were the employees kind and considerate, but also the management. When a factory installed accessory of the vehicle was damaged, they had me covered since they knew I was a valued customer and treated them with respect. That reciprocity is something to be appreciated, and one of the main resigns I highly recommend this car wash. Overall, don't take these negative reviews too seriously, and understand that this is a well run and incredibly respectable car wash and absolutely worth visiting. read more

The this is my car wasn't even that dirty!!! Crazy!! I should have known something was up when my car didn't even get soapy... I had to ask.... Is the soap working? My nephew works for Autobell in Charlotte and he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He also noticed the fact that instead of industrial vacuums being used, they had SHOP VACS! Completely unacceptable for an Autobell he noted! My nephew was honestly embarrassed after bringing me here, thinking we were going to get similar to experience to his location in Charlotte. I used to come here periodically because they had the cheapest car wash option, $4.00 for a minimum cleaning, and because the staff are friendly. After a while I upgraded to the $7 option because four dollars wasn't cutting the mustard, but eventually even the seven dollar option seemed to do only a marginally better job than me just hosing off the car myself at a friend's house. Eventually I only went to amuse my toddler son, who loved the thrill of going through the magic car wash tunnel. Now we just wash the car ourselves. My suggestion to the owners is to rejigger the machinery such that the sprayers account for the back of the car better. My Corolla always came out with a back end only marginally cleaner than when it first drove through the car wash. read more

The "help wanted" sign out front should have been an indication of the quality of service. I went there very early in the morning before it was overly crowded and had a horrible experience. I paid $25 to get the car washed and came out with the car not looking very much better. I just wanted a quick exterior car wash and have them scrub my rubber Floormats. I was told they could not add the five dollar rubber Floormat cleaning option without paying for a full interior/exterior cleaning. I'm not sure what they consider an interior cleaning but the seats, backseat floor, and the cargo area were not vacuumed. When I asked about it, the girl told me that she would drive the car back around to vacuum it properly, but by this time it was very crowded and I did not want to wait any longer than the 30 minutes I had already spent there. This place is a complete joke, went there today to just have the outside of my work pick up truck done and the outside of it dried . Guy at the front said 6 dollars for a drive thru and 10 dollars for drive thru and dry the outside. I paid the 10 dollars and when I got to the end and pulled over to get my veh dried, A young kid came over and said you can leave you have a drive thru. I told him I paid to have my veh dried he said no sorry your wrong, I showed him the receipt and said if a drive thru is only 6 dollars why was I charged 10 dollars, he looked at me, shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know, then walked away and started on another car. Pulled in for a simple wash this afternoon. The young man took my payment and lined me up, told me to put it in Neutral and we were off. About half way through I noticed my truck was moving diagonal and the wash stopped. I honked my horn and another young man came running and acted like it was my fault? They were short and a little rude. Got the truck back on the rail and I slowly left. They offered another wash but no thanks. I know the equipment failure wasn't their fault but why act like it was on me? Y'all can keep the $18 you got from me, I will go someplace else. read more

$35+, and still had to vacuum it when I got home. Water spots everywhere. Dried water runs on the glass. Fingerprints on the inside of the windshield. "Wiping down the interior" means just that... dry wiping the dash and redepositing the dust onto the console and seats. Don't know how this place is in business. read more

Worse car wash I've ever received! Paid for the full treatment interior/exterior detail and the whole thing was completely half assed. Tires and trunk were completely missed. This is clearly the worst place to have your car washed. I drive a brand new Toyota Sienna. I went the Autobell on Second St. in WILLIAMSBURG, Va. today to have their $27 inside and out done...WHAT A JOKE!!! I told the guy at the start that I wanted the inside done, but that because I have permanent dog crates in the back, to just vacuum around them the best he could, but to please clean all windows. He said "no problem, he's got it". Yeah, right! When I got my keys back, I looked inside to see that the mats were not clean, a lot of dirt still around the mats on the carpet, then I saw there was dirt inside the door handles, door cubbies, that had not been cleaned, passenger side floor was the same way, inside windshield looked like they hadn't touch it, dashboard and vents still had pollen on it, inside of back windows were not cleaned either. When I first started to get into van, I told the guy that it didn't look like it had been vacuumed and he said "show me what you mean" so I showed him all the dirt and he said "they don't clean floor mats, that is an extra $5 charge" and I said forget it, and asked to speak to the manager. Another guy piped up and said he is the manager, so I explained what was wrong and told him for what I just paid, it should have been done and he says, "he will take it back and fix it", I said that my 12 yr old grandson could have done a better job and that I wanted my money back. So he walks me into the building as if to get me my money back, says something to another guy, and that guy now says he is the manager and he said he would not give me my money back, and to show him what the problem is, so then I show this guy all the problems and says he will take it back and fix it, and I told him after everything that had just went on that I wanted my money back. He then said "I told you I would fix it!", and refused to give me my money back. Then I said forget it, I don't want you touching my van. The whole point is there should not be anything to "fix" if the job was done right to start with! There were 3 guys working there, that clearly did not care about doing their jobs correctly, have no clue what work ethic nor customer service is, and clearly have no business running this type of business. I don't know who actually owns this business, but just by reading all the other reviews here it is clear that they do not care either. There wasn't a wait so I decided to try this place out. I paid for the most expensive service. I have a newer 4 door jeep. The interior is carpeted but I have rubber mats in the front. When they said it was finished, I looked in the back carpeted area. They hadn't touched it AT ALL. Then the guy said he would fix it, but he only opened the gate and didn't lift the hatch so that he could reach all the way in. I reached around and lifted it for him. I then noticed they hadn't vacuumed the seats either and said something so they went back AGAIN. As I got in, I noticed the mats were filthy. I said something and was told that was EXTRA TO CLEAN THE MATS OFF. Are you kidding me?? Highly recommended Mega Wash in town. Will not be going back to this place. read more

DO NOT EVER COME TO THIS AWFUL AUTOBELL. We had just bought a barely used 2015 truck from a Chevy dealership a day before, it was brand new and checked over. We decided to take it through the autobell in Williamsburg, we waiting in line for 10minutes and then went through when half way through the wash we noticed our radio went out. THE WASH SNAPPED THE ANTENNA OFF THE TRUCK. We came around and spoke to the manager Karen James, the most unprofessional rude woman we have ever met. She proceeds to have us fill out paperwork; at which she writes down that there was prior damage to our truck. THIS IS COMPLETE BS AND A LIE. We took pictures of before the antenna was snapped off, after and where it was laying inside the autobell. She then stated that the truck was old anyway, like WTF? Wouldn't even give us a copy of the claim report at first. We really expected Autobell to be professional and on the job, but this was absolutely disgusting. We had to have her give us the antenna back. Luckily we do have the dealership to prove there was no damage prior; also the woman never even looked at the truck before hand. This is the absolutely worst autobell I've ever been too. Even before I brought a car and it almost got rearended and wasn't cleaned at all well; I had to ask the employees to go over and clean it again. This is literally an embarrassing place to get your car washed and a huge waste of money; I will warn everyone I know about it. Should have been no stars!!!! read more

I would not recommend this to anyone. Have had them to do my car twice, the first time I ask about making sure the floor mats were clean, but when I got in the car still mud on them. I was in a hurry so I thought I would come back, and I did. I very nicely told the gentleman that the last time I was not satisfied with the floor mat cleaning. He told me all they did was vacuumed the mats no wiping was done, it would be $7 more to do that, added to the already $29.95 they were charging me. I agreed but not without grief, at home a Sam's car wash is $8 for outside which they wash before it goes through. After the wash, I told them the seat still has crumbs in the seat, they reminded me it was not a detail, but they vacuumed again, still stuff in the seat. I left and as I did I noticed the windshield was only partially cleaned, so I went back, they said the small place on the window so sap and their chemical wouldn't get it off. I went back to the motel, took the edge of my room key and it came right off. I guess their chemicals did not include elbow grease. So my conclusion is there are others in town, so I start my journey to find one, and along the way I will tell everyone who will listen to avoid AutoBell car wash on 2nd street Williamsburg. read more

I arrived with a relatively clean Toyota Corolla. I told the young man about tree sap on my back window and pointed it out to him. I said it was especially important to get that off. You recommended the manager's special , $29.99. When work was completed the tree sap was still there. They said there was nothing further they could do. They said I should go home and use Goo Gone. I've been here once before, and had a fair experience. It got the job done for the most part. Still had to go over areas with a towel myself afterwards. Went there today and it'll be the last time. Verified that we had roughly 35 minutes before they closed and since I wasn't getting the interior cleaned I figured it wouldn't be a problem. Pulled up to the entrance and no one was there. Waited. No one showed. Finally decided to leave and as I was driving away I saw the associate looking right at me, waiting for me to drive away. Went to auto bell car wash today and when our car came out of the wash our tire was flat and our rim was scratched up. The manager even told us that it happened there but said there must have already been previous damage(which there wasn't) so that he wasn't going to reimburse us for it. We asked him for his boss number and he refused to give it to us. We have already called corporate to get our money back. Not only that we got one of their best packages and our car was still dirty inside and out. On the back of the car we could still write our name in the dirt. Inside of the car there was still dirt everywhere. If I could give it 0 stars I would. No customer service at all and they are trying to lie about the whole situation. read more
