I missed my coffee shop when I moved to Germany and the Autohof was open early and was conveniently located, plus they have a smoking section! I became a regular and eventually began to try out a few German phrases with the wait staff. They were very appreciative of my efforts and one waiter spoke to me in English (he wanted to practice it) and I spoke to him in German. Fun! Thursdays are "Lady's Day" where women get their entree for half price. They have daily specials as well. Located just off the A6, it's a good place to relax! read more

Excellent service, great prices, great specials, and good food! The place is modern looking. The salad bar was small, but still a delight. I was nervous to try this place out because from the roadway it just looks like a truck stop. But upon going in, the restaurant was clean and inviting. There is plenty of seating and decent amount of parking. The breakfast menu seems awesome! I'll definitely be back to check that out. read more

One of the few places you can actually get free coffee refills, just like in the States. Nice breakfasts!

What a hidden gem! If you are looking for somewhat close to home (American) - come to this place. Breakfast is my thing and bacon and eggs are so good. So simple but yet totally checks to box. All breakfast is served with a carafe of coffee (which is very rare in Europe). Staff are friendly. You have to pay for washroom but ticket can be used to deduct from bill. read more

The prices are decent, the food is good, the service was great. There is a smoking section that kind of made the place smell like smoke. Even though I sat in the non-smoking section, my clothes ended up smelling like smoke. If you want no frills good food, this is the place to go. read more
