2nd car purchased from Autolinx, and same outstanding buying experience - upfront honesty, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and fair! Thank you for helping me find another diamond in the rough!!!

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! If it were possible to give autolinx 0 stars, that's what I would give them. Within 15 minutes of driving this lemon off the lot, the engine light came on, and has continued to come on until this day. Pierre has had my car in his shop on at least 7 occasions. Some of those for the same problems. I have had to rent a car on three occasions and Pierre gave me a loaner one time. Then Volkswagen of Lakeland gives me a repair estimate today...total cost for repairs needed...$12,513.55. (See photo attached from VW Lakeland) That's more than I owe on this vehicle! Inquired about a possible trade in...can't get more than $4,000 for this car after financing $13,000.Repairs made to this date:1. Water pump (two times)2. Oil leak (as you can see by the repair estimate from VW Lakeland, it is still an issue which needs repairing)3. Struts4. New coil packs and spark plugs5. New engine cooling fan and temperature sensor.6. Coolant temperature sensor switch7. Ignition coil wires. They knew I was a single mother and didn't even have money for a down payment. Shame on them for unloading this money pit onto me.If you have any questions, DM me on Instagram @flpakrbakr. I hope this saves someone else from having to live the nightmare I've had to live for the past nine months.

Family owned and operated, trustworthy place! Jesse and Pierre really took care of me and made my first-time car buying experience really smooth. They were committed to making it a good experience, and to make sure I got the car I needed.

The experience of the night I bought the car, went as expected. Out the door in 8 hours. Salesman went above and beyond to answer questions and seal the deal. Come 12/28, we were called in to sign yet another set of forms. today is 3/16/26 I call to schedule and appt to have my car serviced for a click/knocking sound that SALESMAN AND acctg was aware of at signing on 12/28. Upon arrival to my first service to "check the car" I was turned away to DMV because they said I have a "branded title". I bit my tongue and moved on to the DMV to wait and be told, the DEALER is the one who has to fix this mistake because the incorrect mileage was submitted. I go BACK TO DEALER for a piece of paper with "SUPPOSED CORRECT" mileage on car. TO GO BACK TO DMV, because I didn't want to throw a fit in the lobby, so I went back to DMV twice and to dealer TWICE in one day. To be sent again and I said no, THE DEALER has to fix this NOT ME. I had already taken 2 days off work to deal with this. NO CALLS BACK, WHATSOEVER. I have to work just like they do, I am going to make this short. I get an email in mid February 2026 from the Manager "AFTER I CALLED" and he just so happend to answer the phones that moment and when he said his name I greeted him and said You are hard to get ahold of and his short answer to me was "NOW YOU GOT ME, What can I do for you" ok, he asked once he shut me down to start asking him what the status was on my car payoff because I was sent to collections bureau for my prior car/trade in. I get NO CALL BACK, but an email with the name of my new loan info (which I had NO acct number and new bank had NO IDEA who I was). I have email proof and new car proof come a date so far from purchase. IF my Title is Branded than what has MAUS NISSAN OF TAMPA on FLORIDA Ave done to satisfy the customer? Mind you this is the 8th car I have purchased from THIS LOCATION, and several family members, and in and out purchase in 3 hours, done and gone. Where do I go from last week, MARCH already, I go in thinking this has been resolved as when I went in January the guy in Acctg says "MONDAY, You should be good on your title" as he said "IT IS SETTLED". I am NOT HAPPY and this has been a total nightmare. Today is 3/16/26 and I still have a branded title and my registration says I have a BLACK SUV and it is Pearl White? hmmm?? SERVICE WILL NOT TOUCH IT, because they say "WE CANNOT TOUCH IT" but when I look over the wheels are off and the service guy trying to be discreet says oh we are making sure you leave here "safe", and the NOISE IS THERE, Its not being serviced, my title is branded, the registration is WRONG. I am paying for a car that a Bank has taken posession of and HAS NO TITLE? BUT THEY WERE QUICK TO ASSIGN ME A NEW Loan # and say THANK YOU FOR YOUR Payment! So a Branded title and new loan that is not even in the paperwork I signed, so? WHO DROPPED THE BALL? 4 days off and STILL no one to help me? any suggestions ? Which your first answer has already gotten the ball in its court and hopefully I do not have to take any days off other than to maybe sign a new loan? Who knows? I am done! Asking for a friend.

The engine light came on less than 10 hours of driving the vehicle loss of cooling thank God I popped the hood and check. I will have below the engine due to low cooling. It had two bad cooling leak. On top of that when the engine light came on the vehicle start running roughly wouldn't stay running and wouldn't start up first start no more and the steering wheel start getting stuck at the 45 to 50 miles. Then then the second day I start the vehicle and start smoking real bad out the tail pipe And the sad part about it. I only had the vehicle for 25 days minus the first week they had a vehicle for a week then the second week I didn't drive it so basically two weeks I didn't drive the vehicle one week. They had a vehicle and the second week. I didn't drive the vehicle I had it. It put me in my life Family in danger, jeopardy especially my newborn very disappointing and haven't fixed the problem yet. Basically drove vehicle for two weeks with problems. I think it could be a blown head gasket as well. Cost me $2000 worth of engine damages. And top of that I was still paying car insurance for four months cost me like $1400. So you do the math I took a total loss with a vehicle plus paying car note and that's cost me $1,960. Plus a $3,800 down payment. I forgot to post the other paperwork saying I was running off five cylinders. Instead of six

From the…read morebeginning, the woman handling my maintenance was incredibly condescending and repeatedly implied I had blown the engine by driving recklessly. She kept comparing me to her teenage sons with sports cars and acted as though I was lying whenever I explained that I do not drive like that. The reality is simple: the car was already 7 years old and had two previous owners before me. It was far more likely that prior abuse caused the damage and it just happened to fail during my ownership. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse. The replacement engine cost around $13,000, and I was repeatedly told it came with a warranty. After getting the car back -- and having to immediately return because the starter had been wired incorrectly -- I noticed they had placed a sticker on my windshield telling me to bring the car back by a certain date. Naturally, I assumed this might be related to maintaining the warranty on the new engine. When the date approached, I called to ask what the sticker meant. Nobody at the dealership had any idea what I was talking about. I was told to bring the car in, and even after seeing the sticker themselves, nobody recognized it. They eventually sent me to their partner maintenance shop across the street, where once again nobody recognized the sticker THEY had put on my car. After waiting forever, they finally inspected the car and told me it "needed" an oil change. Since the engine was brand new, I assumed this either had something to do with the engine break-in period or the warranty requirements, so I reluctantly agreed. Only after paying did they casually explain that the sticker simply meant it was time for a routine oil change. In other words, they had effectively talked me into an oil change I did not actually need. To make matters worse, they slapped another identical sticker on my windshield afterward, which I immediately tore off and threw out. I was able to pay using reward points I had earned from the engine replacement, but they were wasted because they could have gone toward actual future maintenance. The people I dealt with at this dealership were condescending, disorganized, and unbelievably incompetent. Do not give this place your business.

UPDATE: Although my experience with Tampa Honda below started out on the wrong foot initially,…read moreHarry, a salesman from Tampa Honda, did call me back & helped navigate a difficult situation in bringing me back to the table to continue with the deal. Because of which, we were able to come to an agreement where both sides benefited. I do feel they gave me a good deal on the car after the difficulties I experienced & the general sales manager Clayton did meet with me briefly after the deal was done. I still feel even after buying the car there are some things this dealership should learn from how NOT to do a car deal but overall I'm happy with the car & the deal they gave me & would do it all over again for this car as we absolutely love it. Few points they could learn from this: 1. Not sure I ever actually got an official apology for why this experience went down this way. It came across more like excuses than acknowledging the problem & willingness to fix it. Ex: "This is what I do every day", "The renovations to the dealership", "We outsourced our phones to a 3rd party agency", etc. 2. I got told multiple times that they were a "high volume" dealership. What I took from that statement was I'm just a number & the point of our dealership is not to establish relationships but to sell a bunch of cars. Now I understand I'm out of state buyer & there isn't really an opportunity to earn repeat business from me as they will probably never see me or that car for service or sales again but theres still a way to treat me like a customer. 3. Out of state deals should still be treated like an in person customer as a deal is a deal. Yes, you can take extra precautions to make sure the out of state deals are legitimate & not fraud but don't hold that against all out of state customers. 4. Don't over promise & under deliver. Multiple occasions I was told one thing & then it wouldn't happen. Main example was Harry stating he'd have all my paperwork ready on the date of my arrival & should be in and out in an hour. 3.5 hours later the deal was done & was a lot of me just sitting around waiting for what? I get me being out of state I had to jump through a few more hoops but adding the new car to my insurance was one delay (which only took me 15 min to fix over the phone) & un-freezing my credit bureaus again (which took less than 5 min to do while on the phone with my insurance to add the car). All this to say, updated this review from a one star to 3 star as mistakes happen & I won't penalize them after they worked to make this deal happen & grateful for that since it's the car we really wanted. TBH I would buy from them again even with the troubles as they earned by business back through it all and feel I established some good relationships through the conflict. Original Review: If you try to contact them via phone they just ignore you & say they will call you back & never do. I found a pre-owned car they had on their lot & a salesman reached out to me the following morning but when I tried to return the call the receptionist said the salesman was unavailable but saw in the notes they know I was interested in the pre-owned car & someone would reach out to me by end of day today. I called back 2-3 more times before the day was up & still hadn't heard anything. At this point, the dealership closed at 6pm & I called right before they officially closed & asked if someone would be reaching out even after hours & they said if not tonight early tomorrow morning but that it was up to the GM whether a "remote deal" would be considered as they don't typically do remote deals which is weird enough. Money is money. Who cares if it comes from out of state or not. Morning came & went & still heard nothing. Called back into the dealership & then began asking for Quinn the general manager & of course, unavailable but they saw in the notes the car I was interested in & they'd be getting back to me soon to go over the deal. At this point I begin asking if they even want to sell me a car? No one could transfer me to a salesman to sell me the car & clearly the GM Quinn is avoiding the sale altogether as a customer should not have to beg to buy a car from their dealership & because of which I'm taking my business elsewhere & think it's ridiculous.

He let us test drive only around the parking lot (because the gas tank was nearly empty). My husband asked for their best offer because he didn't want to waste time on back and forth haggling. The salesman insisted that we give what OTD price we wanted and he would try to get it for us. We gave our target OTD price. He also tried to convince us to finance the truck because it was better for his commission (but more expensive for us in the longrun). Long story short, they offered the basic MSRP and he added another $4K for mandatory upgraded warranties that their dealership added on all cars/trucks. So we wasted time back and forth with price haggling and negotiations because they were still too high. The salesman finally asked (again) what was OTD price we were willing to pay to leave with the car on the same day. Which was the same price we told him over an hour ago. We just got up and left because this was exactly the type of service and back and forth haggling for hours that we were trying to avoid. We purchased at another dealership. We were able to get very close to our target OTD price at another dealership, but that was not a smooth process either.
