Let me tell you this garage breaks so often you're better off spending an hour looking for parking nearby. that technician Nick is the worst human being ever. The only good technician is Anthony. They hire call centers to deal with customers cause of how often it breaks but those call centers still have to call the technicians and if the technicians don't give a crap then what can they do. If you're like me and spent way too much time looking up valet parking garages and being very concerned about their poor reviews then this place is a Godsend (especially if you're hanging out in the southern part of Manhattan). First off. Yes the prices are going to be a bit more expensive BUT the peace of mind knowing that no one will be touching your car except you to me is well worth the price of admission! We parked here for just over 40 hours with an SUV and the total cost (including tax) was $110 which to us was reasonable! The process is very straightforward. As you pull up to the garage doors it will automatically open up allow you to pull into the area which will move your car. There's a helpful screen in front of you telling you if you need to make adjustments to properly align your car up. Once the screen says STOP! you can engage your parking brake, fold your mirrors in and hop out! At the terminal you'll be given a 6 digit code (do NOT lose this) via your phone or email. Once you get your code it'll whisk your car away and you're done! (You can see your car moving along on a tv screen behind where you get your code). Once it's time to pick up, you punch your code in, pay and after a few minutes your car magically appears in front of you positioned for you to directly drive out! 10/10 would use again! read more

I purchased a spothero pass and had issues with trying to insert the pass into the kiosk. I called the help number, who called another man who I guess worked directly for the garage who then called me directly. This is a 24/7 garage by the way and the person on the phone was so unprofessional and rude. Yes, it was 3am and my finance and I were just getting into the city --you work at a 24/7 garage and he kept saying and I quote "bro it's 3am its too early for this sh*t" he huffed and puffed the entire time and did not want to help me stating the only option was to call spothero in the morning for a refund. I was totally taken aback. It was like speaking to a 16 year old. The garage itself might be a decent place to park but the employees there are garbage. read more

I pre-booked and prepaid on Spot Hero a week ahead of time for a space in this garage for overnight parking for 72 hours. I arrived to find an incredibly frustrated person with his car stuck in the entry bay, and he said he had been stranded there for 40 minutes trying to get someone there to get the doors working again. (Apparently, the garage door was broken so at that point there was no way to get in or out.) We found another garage after checking into our Airbnb; the host there told us this garage is broken much of the time and they never get help there in a timely way. Needless to say, I booked at a garage with attendants, and we had no problems whatsoever after that. AVOID this place. read more

Finding a parking spot in Chinatown can be extremely challenging, like searching for a needle in a haystack. Personally, I tend to avoid valet parking since I am concerned about how they treat my vehicle once I hand them the keys. Sometimes, I have discovered a few dents here and there, and they always claim that the damage was pre-existing. Parked for almost 2 hours and cost $33. I just picked up my car from dealership and didn't want any valet to mistreat my car, this was my better option knowing no one will touch my car afterwards. This is truly a unique parking garage in the Little Italy/Chinatown area. If you do have luggage and plan to be in this area for just a few hours, do consider this place. It is like having a valet without having to give them your keys. You park your car inside the gated entrance and then lock your car and take your keys. Your car will be store inside a shelving system and automatically retrieved when you come back and checkin for your car. It can get pricey pretty quickly, so make sure to try to keep your times within reasonable range so that you do not pay a hefty fee. I have posted rates under the picture section to help. Parked here yesterday as highly recommended by my BFF.. Well, she did impress me. This self machine parked is pretty much amazing. Very cool! High tech! just dropping your car and boom it's gone with in few minutes you get your stab and you run away. No hassle , no long wait, no being impatience. The place is clean besides its in Baxter at Chinatown .. So you really feel safe about your car & belongings. We know what canal st on weekdays is.. A very hot tourist spot & busy chaotic atmosphere at times. This is a place a definite spot to park your car. It can accommodate 66 cars total. Plus you can see your car thru the video. I highly recommend for busy people like me.. A place I would find myself to park often. read more

This was the only fully automated parking option in Lower Manhattan I could find. Valet parking is the standard in the city but I would never allow anyone to drive my vehicle, so this was a godsend. I had reservations owing to the complaints about mechanical malfunction. My experience was seamless from drop-off to pick-up with clear visual instructions every step of the way. We parked our car in their automated garage and when I went to retrieve it, their mechanism was broken and the mechanic could not fix it for 3+ hours. We were forced to rent a second car so that we could get to a concert we had tickets to. The staff said we would be reimbursed for the full cost of the rental car and they would waive the fee for the garage. I was able to get the car out the next day and after some phone tag, Tim Menz a VP for the company made good on that offer. It is always a great sign when a company takes responsibility to cover their customers losses when an unusual event causes a disruption in service. Thank you Mr. Menz. read more

Overall I like this place. Great that no one touches you car... Drive in and lock your vehicle. BUT the prices have gotten out of control. They Early bird used to be M-F in by 7-10:30 out by 7 for $16.91 + Tax. NOW it's in by 7-9 am out by 5 pm for 20.27 + tax. After that it goes up to $32.10 + Tax !! That's a huge difference and a rip off. Most garages in the area have early birds that end at 7. read more

Cool concept if you're driving something smaller than my mid - sized, extended cab Isuzu Pickup. It looked like an excellent experience, but I'll never know. If you're visiting Mulberry Street as I was, just park right in that lot on Broome, and save yourself time & headaches. It would've been helpful if the garage was adequately signed as to what wouldn't fit, before you drive in, and then have to back out onto Baxter. :( read more

Probably the best parking option if you're travelling to NY and have a lot of valuables in the car. Yes, it was kinda pricey, but it was worth it knowing that the only thing near your car was other cars stacked together. All you do is roll into the little garage thing, the TV screen will ask to make adjustments if you need to, then you have as long as you want until you get out and start using the kiosk. Then you get a card from the machine and off your car goes. Near the entrance/exit is a TV screen, there was someone always at the help desk and getting the car was a breeze. It will face the right way so all you have to do is get in the car and drive out from the other garage space. If I can recall the price it was 1 hour, 2 hour, then 3 hour, then 12 hours. If you pass 3 hours by even a second you'll be paying the next price, so set a timer! Getting the car took us 10 minutes only because there was a car trying to find a spot, but highly recommended! read more

HUGE Warning for those who takes advantage of the Early Bird deal. It use to be in by 9 and out by 7 which comes out to $24 including tax which is a great deal for the area. They just changed it 1/15/2016 where the hours are now in by 9 and out by 5PM! If you pick up your car after 5 its the normal rate of $38. Most normal working folks i know work 9-5 or 9-6 so not sure who the owners of this lot is targeting here. Why even have the early bird special?? I use to like this lot. Great idea and love the fact that nobody touches your car. I have had issues with my car getting stuck in the lot where it took over 30mins to retrieve it but even that isn't a big deal. I will be looking to park elsewhere because going from $24 - $38 per day is a too big of an increase. read more

Terrible parking. Always broken. Sometimes you have to wait for hours to retrieve your trapped vehicule especially on the weekends. Owners dont care and disrespect their paying customers. very safe parking and friendly staff! im not from new york and was hurrying up that morning to an office... was relieved to have been welcomed by staff who was very helpful and had great positive attitude! :-) had to park here on a monday business day so was able to avail of the early bird special of only $24, you just have to check in before 9am and car can stay there with that flat fee until 7pm. Real good deal and worth the money. Also its close to a subway line (canal st) and is around the chinatown/little italy area. park here! :-) read more
