Needing an auto part, I was really dreading going to Canadian Tire now that they fill up the aisles with junk which the mindless hordes all stop to look at, not allowing you to walk at any type of pace. In addition, this was xmas time, so I knew it would be even worse & there would even longer lines.
It occurred to me to see if this auto parts store on Humber Road had what I needed. Within seconds of walking in, the man working stopped his conversation and asked what he could help me with in a friendly, non-confrontational manner. He looked up the size of the part when I didn't have the manual and then handed me the part I needed, even giving me recommendations for the all season instead of the winter version.
I was in & out of Corner Brook Automotive in all of maybe, 3 minutes? This would have been a 25 minute ordeal over at Canadian Tire.
I know where I'm going for auto parts from now on. read more
