I was totally nervous using a dealership's service department, because Dodge messed me up bad. (I had a dodge years ago, but I have a Toyota now.) Toyota in Lake Charles took my car in quickly the other day and was so kind and courteous. They even charged less than originally quoted. That makes me feel better ...like they won't charge for extra stuff or try to find more wrong just to make more money. My car came back today in great shape and I'm glad. One year and three months later ,he performed a job that no one else would take.. It took great tenacity, A love for his job and work that was done to the best that anyone could have done to get my car.. From having one off parts made, trying to figure out the mistakes and wrong parts that been done to this Corvette over 20 years.. He and his workforce have the highest ethics, both professional and personal. I am 77 years old and I thought I would never drive this car again. I spent money replacing the air filters, wiper blades, missing body panel clips, and hours cleaning the grime and cobwebs.. 6 weeks later, I'm stranded at 4 am on a Friday morning with a car that wouldn't start because the starter went out. Come Monday at noon, still no call from the service manager. I called the lot and was told I would have to pay 50% of the cost of the repairs since it wasn't a power train issue. $130 to get my car back. On top of the $150 in Lyft to get back and forth to work, I'm now being extorted for more money. BEWARE!!

They processed my insurance claim on the spot and with my zero comprehensive deductible, it was nothing out of pocket for me, which was important to me, because I don't want to have to pay upfront money and wait for a possible reimbursement from my insurance carrier. They also do state inspections. I didn't have any problems, but I can't see giving 5 stars here either. It's more like a 3.5 star rating rounded up.

Elite Towing will get your vehicle where it needs to go -- but expect to pay up to 3x the normal…read morerate. My 40-mile tow bill for a 24' Class C RV (under 12,000 lbs) came to $1,560. They produced a transcript showing they told me the cost upfront, but it felt engineered to protect them, not me. Even though I specifically asked the drivers to air up my new Michelin Agilis tires, they didn't. Later they claimed the tires were in poor condition -- completely false. Tires purchased in Nov. 2024 with fewer than 3,000 miles on them. They disconnected the driveshaft (which is necessary on my rig) but didn't reinstall it. Instead, they shoved it inside my RV door so I had to move it just to get inside. When I called to question this, I was told they're "not mechanics" and sounded very dismissive -- frankly, I got the impression they thought I wouldn't push back because I'm a woman. They also only accept credit cards and charge a 4% fee, refusing other payment options. My invoice showed 5 x $300 = $1,500 (plus fee), but the time of service was only 3.5 hours. They wouldn't give an invoice unless I requested it, claiming their payment processor "just doesn't do that." When they did produce an invoice, it showed my signature on the bottom, which was taken from the in-field process of payment sent in a text form that was required for the credit card payment. When I asked about using a smaller truck (my rig is far lighter than a semi), I was told only their heavy wrecker would work. They stood by everything, never acknowledging any overcharge or inadequate service. If you use them, get everything in writing, expect a very high bill, and don't expect customer service or fair consideration after they have your money.
