This is a great little garage, the owner Derry is so friendly and he makes you feel so comfortable…read morewhen he chats to you about what went wrong with the car, he explains what could be the matter and how much it is likley to cost, he even made me a coffee while I waited for him to access my car, he arranged for him to pick the car up the next day from my work, repair it and then deliver it back to me all fixed and ready to go. he sent the bill out in 2 weeks , so it would give me time to save up for the repair. really nice would recomend this garage to anyone in Perth or some one passing through that might have a problem or even getting the oil and anti freeze checkec and topped up.

An unassuming car dealership with top of the line service…read more We had been looking for a new car for a while and in the process went to several different dealerships. We met a lot of stereotypical car salesmen who tried to push us into dodgy sales. When we visited Cowgate it was immediately different - the salesman who helped us was honest and straightforward, as well as being very friendly. We were immediately happy with the car and experience. Fast forward about a week after picking up the car and we discovered that one of the keys was corroded. Having been quoted about £200 from a Volkswagon garage, we contacted Cowgate. They asked us to post the key to them and had it fixed and returned within 48 hours, for free. We both agreed that Cowgate definitely exceeded service expectations!

A week later they put on two tyres on my Skoda superb at a reasonable price. The reason I am want to take the opportunity 'to give praise where it is due' is because they took a wee bit of extra time to look into a metallic rattle that I only noticed when I left the place. It turned out to be a stone in a brake calliper. I phoned them up just to thank them for their service, and I have never done that with any other car servicing place in 35 years of owning cars as I am very cynical when it comes to mechanics.
