I was told the tire sensor had malfunctioned and needed replacement, but because the technician had a mandatory meeting, it would take about an hour and a half afterward. At 1:20 p.m., I got a call saying a tire needed replacing, and we agreed. We arrived around 3:30 p.m., expecting my car to be ready, only to find out the tire hadn't arrived from Weslaco--something I hadn't been told. We asked not to replace it since it wasn't there, but five minutes later, the tire suddenly arrived. We decided to go ahead with the replacement, yet I didn't leave until 4:30 p.m. because it took the technician an hour to replace the tire and fix the sensor.

I have brought multiple vehicles to get serviced here first lasted 2 months before the gaskets they installed on my ecoboost turbo loosened and spilled leaving me stranded on I-10 8 hours from home. Second vehicle was brought in for a weird noise they said it was the rear differential, same thing lasted two months in service, once I got it out the same noise started happening again took it back to them and now, they're saying it's the front differential. Will keep ya'll posted to see if this happens again or not. Sadly, this is the closest service department my warranty covers. Major inconvenience.

Today I just picked up some windshield washer fluid. On my past visits as well as today I was unimpressed with the customer service. It's functional, but not friendly nor proactive. They appear to be competent, just unenthusiastic. I am usually ignored till I get to the counter. I realize it's an auto parts store and I don't require a warm hug at the door nor to be offered tea and crumpets (whatever crumpets are). But even Stripes has their employees acknowledge the customers as they enter. They've always either had what I needed or could order it for me. This is true for most auto parts stores. So it usually comes down to who has the best price and quality. Today I found what I needed at a reasonable price. But I was reminded why I usually go to one of the competitors. "Oh, Really", I was. (Pun intended). Perhaps it's my Irish roots.

Which I had no problem with I gave him the number of the O'rileys I called he automatically said no I got the book of numbers right here totally ignore me. Call a different O'Rileys and the guy that answer didn't even know how to spell cv axle or that there was such a thing as a driver or passenger side axel. I felt so disappointed upset then in the end after he wrote the same price I got quoted at 71.99 15 mins earlier to then tell me it was the wrong price that the price it eighty something.
