Well this is the second negative review. First one is on their site. My 2024 Cadallic wouldn't start. I called Hacienda Ford. The lady who answered was very nasty. Since I didn't buy the extended warranty ( the car was a year old) from them she wouldn't help. She knew that this car has a guarantee for 5 years or 50000 miles but she didn't tell us. It was such a disappointment to spend my birthday without a car after being given an 11 a.m. appointment for a vehicle check. I was told the tire sensor had malfunctioned and needed replacement, but because the technician had a mandatory meeting, it would take about an hour and a half afterward. At 1:20 p.m., I got a call saying a tire needed replacing, and we agreed. We arrived around 3:30 p.m., expecting my car to be ready, only to find out the tire hadn't arrived from Weslaco--something I hadn't been told. We asked not to replace it since it wasn't there, but five minutes later, the tire suddenly arrived. We decided to go ahead with the replacement, yet I didn't leave until 4:30 p.m. because it took the technician an hour to replace the tire and fix the sensor. read more

If you have a problem with a vehicle they'll service it but it won't be until the second or third time. I have brought multiple vehicles to get serviced here first lasted 2 months before the gaskets they installed on my ecoboost turbo loosened and spilled leaving me stranded on I-10 8 hours from home. Second vehicle was brought in for a weird noise they said it was the rear differential, same thing lasted two months in service, once I got it out the same noise started happening again took it back to them and now, they're saying it's the front differential. I was kind of critical of Hacienda Ford Services in my first posted review. I'm slowly working my way on posting on every available review source. They did provide complementary delivery services for my SUV to be dropped off at my house. Both young ladies were very professional in delivering my SUV. So I needed to update my review and I appreciate the response from the owner, but let's address my concerns now and not later time in the future. Hacienda Ford Services can start with the reimbursement of the Ford App tow fee of $201.09. After experiencing a vehicle network communication error as I was driving in town, all of the vehicle's electronic information in my Bronco Sport shut off. Only the engine kept running had no idea how fast I was going. I made it home which seemed to be forever, I was probably going less than 20 mph but once home I could not get the SUV to shift into park, and it suddenly shuts off. My 2021 Bronco Sport is still under Ford manufacturer warranty. I requested a tow from the Ford app to have it delivered to Hacienda Ford Service and a payment of $201.09 was required to dispatch a tow service. A couple of days later I got a call that my SUV was ready the battery might of been in a low state of charge and there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Hacienda Ford Service claimed on the phone to have never heard of a vehicle network communication error but I took pictures of the error message on my phone. Vicente is supposed to call me back about getting my payment of $201.09 refunded but it's been days since I last heard from him. So I ended up paying $201.09 to have the privilege for Hacienda Ford Service to tell me my battery might of been at a low state of charge while I was driving. My wife was recording the whole situation with the vehicle meltdown on our way back home and Hacienda Ford Service had no desire to even take a look at the video or pictures of the vehicle network communication error message. If it happens again at least I know how to temporarily fix the vehicle's malfunction, our tow truck driver disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and was able to get the vehicle to start and shift it back to park. My vehicle also has a safety recall from November 2022 and Hacienda Ford Service had no desire to get it taken care of, they claimed to be so backed up it would be months before they could get to it. My advice is don't waste your time and money I made the mistake and did not listen to my spouse. I was told to use Spike Ford or Boggus Ford, I used Hacienda Ford because they were the closest to the house. But sometimes one has to go the extra distance to get the right service. read more

I had my truck taken in for warranty paint work back in May. Atop my truck being there for 9 weeks, the quality of the work is as though an entry level prep guy and painter were used to complete this work. I've had my truck back for three months, with no follow up from the dealer on correcting how bad the work was done. I took it as far as the manager from Hacienda collision, and even they weren't at all helpful. Mediocre quality, mediocre service, mediocre everything! Damaged parts, and reinstalled damaged parts, clear coat is starting to peel in some areas. read more

My friend took her car in last year for an issue that doesn't seem to have been fixed. I came to help and ask them about it and what's going on and they take the car in and put it "in line". Ok, normal. It takes time to see vehicles, I get that. But then last night they say that it's first in line the next morning and guess what, by noon they still haven't looked at it. So first means not until AFTER NOON??? The least they could have done was fix it over a year ago and now not even lie about the time frame. Not to mention if I wasn't here my friend with two kids as a substitute teacher is supposed to go without a vehicle for days on end with NO loaners or any kind of replacement for a vehicle. Wow.....Hacienda too? Always trusted them for my vehicles services. Today I went in for an oil change like I usually do every 3000 miles to the company I've always trusted. Came out with a coolant leak that they said.."things happen, it's probably just a coincidence. " Never had an issue with the cooling system in this vehicle before. Called 3 different certified mechanics, all three said it sounds VERY suspicious. Needless to say I will not be returning to this business ever again. I asked for the manager to keep him in the loop and he was conveniently gone for the weekend. If you go in for a service and come out with a different problem, look closely into it and don't trust the advisor cuz he says they can repair it. read more

Service Review Only: I scheduled service a day in advance and made an appointment for 2pm. I arrived to drop my vehicle off for service and they gave me an estimate of 1.5 hours. My wife and I decided to walk down University Drive in order to spend some time and get some exercise. Upon our return an hour and a half later, we noticed service personnel with the keys to our vehicle. "Great timing I thought". But I should have known better; this is the Valley after all. The service technician, Rick, explained they had some people who just decided to leave early to go home. Frustrating, but not the end of the world. Rick apologized (rare for the Valley) and stated he could have someone take us home (a few minutes away), which was nice. An hour or so later Rick called to inform us our vehicle was finished and he would be sending someone to pick us up. Again he apologized for the earlier issue which was nice (you could tell it was a sincere apology). An HOUR later no one had showed up at my house (which is located very close to their dealership). No phone call explaining, giving a time when they'd be there, nothing. I call back and explain that it's been an hour and I get the excuse that "it's cuz they are in Las Milpas....". Great, I think, if they are in Las Milpas, they are probably shot by now. So I find my own way back to the dealership and arrive to receive an empty apology and uncaring staff. With a lot full of vehicles (it IS a car dealership after all) you'd think they could come pick someone up within an hour after they told you "I'll send someone over." Multiple people were standing around chatting, but couldn't drive a few minutes to get me. There seems to be communication issues with this business mixed in with the usual aloofness of the Valley. I hate that the first Yelp review is a bad one, but the truth is the truth. I hope Ford sends me a survey card. Rick was the only breath of fresh air through this whole experience. Hacienda Ford had the perfect Ford Explorer (Stock # 200927) coming in that would have been an excellent fit for my business operation in Edinburg Texas. The Internet sales girl strung me around for three days before finally telling me that her sales manager refused to sell that Explorer at any price because their inventory was in short supply. How is it that my company's money to spend for a business in your town is not worthy of your willingness to sell me that Explorer? All fleets need to stay away from this dealer and use Spikes Motors or Payne Weslaco instead. read more

I bought a Ford Mustand, the finance officer told me I was not going to get the car. I think she liked it for someone. I paid $500 down payment and within a month I was called in to give the car back. Apparently the loan officer had done the ol "Switch a roo" and put my dad's address as mine, and vice versa. When the bank called to verify they thought we had misrepresented and were denied. It was one of the most horrific experiences I've ever had. On top of it, they did not give me my money back. Stay away from this place. There are many other Ford dealerships, do not to trust your hard earned money on a dealership that does not keep their word. I've tried calling back and asking for my money back, just to be ignored. I do not work for another dealership and I am not a troll. I lived a block away and thought I could trust this place. Body shop review: The body shop crew is pretty great and have an on site person that deals directly with insurance groups so you won't have to. Joe Guzman sticks to his word and calls you back with updates on your car. Service review: Let's lay everything on the table first. I have a manufacturing background, took my car in to replace the clutch at the same time body work was to be done. Simple clutch replacement...how about no! I understand if the manufacturing plant has issues in getting a clutch for the Focus ST since it's a fairly new car for the United States market, but it would sure be nice to let the customer know that there would be a delay. The delay was two whole weeks with no contact from the Service Shop. I would call regularly for updates however no calls were returned. When the car was ready I received a call on a Tuesday from the Service Shop where I told them I would be going to pick up the car on Saturday which they said was ok. I drive in from Houston Saturday morning to pick up my car and they say it's not ready. The Service Shop attempted to tell me that the car was locked up in the body shop area. I made sure they understood that I was picking up my car that day because they had called me to say it was ready four (4) days earlier. I waited over an hour an a half for them to print out the invoices and bring out my car only to find bird droppings on it. This is the point where I decide to never buy a vehicle from Hacienda Ford. I will still buy Ford, just not here. read more

I went in today to take our vehicle for service for a recalled part. As I was waiting in line I was over hearing the service manager speak to a customer about a battery. To make a long story short the customer seemed to claim the battery should be replaced free of charge...the service manager in a very loud, derogatory tone asked the man: "Do you work for free?" The customer said no, but that if he had made a mistake or his work wasn't satisfactory then he'd own up to it. I dont know the outcome or the context of the sitation, but from my point of view it was unprofessional and rude! I would NEVER buy a vehicle here (our truck was bought elsewhere) if this is the kind of "service" that is expected. Shame on Hacienda! read more

Great customer service! They did everything in their power to have my vehicle ready asap regardless of the long waiting list and appointments they had in front of me. The free popcorn and drinks were very nice especially when you have a three year old waiting with you. I bought a used vehicle from this dealership and it had some problems, so the Used car salesman took it back to fix the problems. They fixed one problem and tried to pass off the other issues. The vehicle went back twice and it still does not run right. I realized that the service manager was just lying to me so I gave up and will fix the vehicle myself. They lie lie and lie, I would say go to another Ford dealer, but don't know of any good ones, Boggus is the worse. I have had good luck with LT Boswell. The salesman was nice, but they always are. After 130,000 miles they refused to service my truck. After speaking with service manger and he consulting with his superior I could overhear superior cussing in a derogatory manner. Don't know if it was in reference to me. However, I was overcharged and lied to. There is no honesty or loyalty at this dealership. Went to buy a second Ford (for my daughter) at this dealership closest to my home. I used their web-page to work out all the details and apply for Credit. After putting everything together I went to the store to do the paperwork. After locating all the data for them (they did not get it) they presented me with a typical "peel them of the roof" payment. I wonder why they bother to have a web page, whatever is on there is pure fantasy! The trade in value was 4000 Dollars lower then their web pages estimate, (on a 2015 Trade with 12000 miles on it, excellent condition) and the new car price at MSRP without the factory incentives listed. According to the salesperson there were no incentives! I believe that this dealership believes that car buyers are stupid and that their webpage only serves to bring people in, from there on it is the old car sales tactics. I will not bother to go there again, prefer to drive 20 Minutes to get to the other Ford Dealership in town. read more

just purchased a LEMON car from this place which is a brand new car I haven't even had it for 1 month and I was all ready taking this brand new ford escape to get serviced. Acceleration problems. vehicle was given back to me about 3 days later they supposedly found the problem okay fine, not even a week later I'm back at the dealer same problem 2 days later as per the dealer they forgot to reset the car whatever fine. not even a week 1/2 later I'm once again back at the dealer furious that I'm having the same issues over and over again with this brand new car. Please don't buy a car from here I would never recommend this place. my biggest regret is ever walking into Ford Hacienda"O" and by the way by state law as per ford I am stuck with this LEMON car I was sold. I recently just bought a car here and I am extremely unsatisfied. When they sold me the car they didn't think it was important to mention that it was infested with cockroaches. Every time I get in the car I see at least 3 cockroaches on my seats and I kill them every time yet they keep coming back. I called to complain about the situation and they told me to take it in to get it detailed and so they could put something for the cockroaches but instead they made me wait 2 hours so they could pretend to detail my car and instead spray it with Febreeze so it seemed like they did something. So I complain about it again because it was obvious that they didn't detail my car like they promised and didn't do anything about the cockroaches and instead of being apologetic and promising that the second time they'll actually do something about it the person I spoke to decided to argue back and be rude. I highly recommend anyone thinking about purchasing a car here to look elsewhere because they obviously don't care about their customers or about the condition their cars are in while selling them. read more

Service/Body shop experience...HORRIBLE. Took my brand new 2017 Explorer in June 19 after the first storm because it got water in it while sitting in my driveway. No flooding in my streets...just sitting there. They could not find the problem/leak. Told me I must have left the doors or windows open HA! It stayed there during the next storm and got MORE water in it ON THEIR LOT in THEIR CARE. Maybe THEY left the windows or doors open, of course they didn't like it when I turned the tables and asked them that very question. Still could not find the leak, but there is an obvious problem since it filled up more after the next storm. They refused to fix it under warranty because they still couldn't find where the water was coming in so they said it was not a warranty issue...hmmm. To this day...3 weeks later...it is STILL sitting there with water in it...basically rotting in the heat, and do I have a loaner in the mean time...nope! I have asked for a loaner several times and "nothing is available"! So....stranded for 3 weeks at home with no transportation!!! Luckily I am a teacher and on summer break...not sure HOW I would have been able to get to work if it were during the school year! Unluckily my daughter has had to miss team practices because I cannot get her there. Having called A LOT and been put on hold...their hold message wants all customer to be happy "If you are not happy we are not happy" well...I am not happy and this is not 100% satisfaction as your message guarantees!!! Finally gave up on HACIENDA and FORD and had to call for insurance and guess what...insurance had to call it a total loss because the service/body shop never took the water out AND it should have been a warranty issue since it's only 5 months old! I have only had it since January!!! AND STILL NO LOANER!!! Shame...Not sure what happened but their service has really declined. Now that Hubby is finally off today, we've gotta go get all my stuff out of it before the insurance company takes it to the salvage yard...OH! AND find $500 for the deductible on a problem THEY MADE WORSE! Personally I feel they are at LEAST 50% responsible for the damage since it got worse under their watch, so they should pay for 1/2 if not all the deductible since they could have taken care of the issue day 1 instead of waiting and letting it rot. We have purchased at least 7 vehicles sent 3 other people to Hacienda...including my parents. We were thinking of trading in our eldest daughter's Fiesta for an EcoSport, - and I will say that the sales team has always done us right - but not sure it will continue to be here if I cannot trust the whole team to take care of us after the purchase. read more

I took in my 2012 mustang I purchased there (2 years) ago to get checked out in January 2015 because I was hearing a knocking sound coming from the engine (motor was still under warranty) they checked it & they said it had nothing to do with the motor & they charged me $105 when I clearly told them not to check anything else besides the motor. So I was forced to pay & they told me it was the pressure valve. I took it to spikes ford & they checked it FOR FREE since my car's engine is still under warranty & they're replacing the motor for free. I told spikes ford that hacienda said it was the pressure valve but it wasn't it turned out it WAS in the engine so now I'm getting a new engine in my mustang from spikes ford. So I DO NOT recommend anyone to go to hacienda to get their vehicles checked out they just want to make money out of you & not fix the problem!!! They made me go through a lot of trouble made me spend money I didn't have when it wasn't even checked right. Management didn't do anything about it when I explained the situation I felt so ripped off & cheated NEVER GOING AGAIN!! read more

A man hit the front of my 1985 Corvette and had State Farm insurance. I could have taken the car anywhere but I chose this dealer because it was a Ford Dealer and I fugured reputation mattered. They had my car for a month and could never match the paint. Everytime I went up there the men in the body shop talked about how poor my paint job was (I had just had the car painted) I finally accepted the car because they nicked my gas door cover and a small spot on my driver's side fender. I was afraid that if I left it any longer they would destroy my classic car.. I would not recommend them to anyone. If you want your car painted please take it to someone else.. I gave them two stars because the ladies in the front office were nice and polite to me. Other wise they don't even deserve a star... The front of my car still doesn't match and I'm probably going to have to paint the whole thing again... Don't worry, they won't be doing it.... The irony of them complaining about the guy who painted my car while they did such shoddy work is just too much... I hate excuses don't you? read more
